Mantra Parramatta

I had no problems at all with the booking or checkin at Mantra Parramatta the staff are super friendly. We are excited to return fingers crossed the venue located at parramatta will be open for use.

The gym located downstairs was a great help and I loved the room. Enjoyed the overall experience, thank you.

Top floor this time great view

Due to the light rail construction noise we needed to move rooms. This was organised without any issues and ended up in a 1 bedroom room but the bed was double not queen. Didnt sleep well in the end. Staff were friendly and helpful. The light rail construction is surely not a new thing and show be flagged before you are allocated a room on top of it.

I booking directly, & had specific requests as to air conditioning, toiletries & kitchen set up, I explained to the staff member that took my booking that we are an interstate truck driving couple who would be checking in after 10pm & require everything as requested & paid for as we would be extremely tired & would just like to relax, have a nice spa & as your restaurant is currently closed we needed basic cooking facilities. The staff member who took my booking, put me on hold to double check that everything I required was available to us. Upon arrival, we were trapped in the elevator for 10minutes, we finally arrive at our room & go to make a coffee only to find, not a single pack of coffee, tea, sugar, biscuit or even milk, it's now around 11pm & we just want to relax, I call up for these things & the lovely lady brings them up in a bag, with thanks I continue to make a coffee, only to find no milk or biscuits.... I call again & wait for the milk, once that was sorted we attempted to make a basic eggs on toast meal for dinner & guess what... no toaster, no fry pan's or pot's.... so I call again & the sweet lady brings me up a pot, frying pan & a slotted spoon??? I ask her for at least an egg flip & she goes again & kindly gets one for us, finally I can make our basic dinner, only at time of serving, I find no utensils & no dinner plates, so I butter the toast with the egg flip & we eat our eggs on toast off a saucer, as by this stage it's getting into early hour's of the next morning & I'm completely over ringing up the reception & waiting for what should already be in the apartment. So by now we are absolutely exhausted, but since we paid for a spa room, we thought we'd take a spa, the spa wasn't working & no toiletries what so ever, actually there was an opened small round soap bar on the sink, so we ditch the spa, take a shower, turn the air conditioner on & jump into bed, we tossed & turned even though the bed was very comfortable, but the apartment was so hot & the air conditioner was not working at all.... When we checked out, we very nicely mentioned these things to the reception lady & she just said... awww, sorry, we'll give you a discount next time you stay here & I very politely said that, that wasn't good enough & in the end she said she'd give us free parking....., I mean really, the very few hour's that we spent in the room were a disaster & disappointment from the beginning to the end, we stay at different accommodation around Sydney every Friday night, as that is our only night off from work all week & have been doing so for more year's than I can count & never have a had such an experience & to top it all off, we got stuck in the lifts again on departure & after having to ring the alarm bell several time's, the receptionist came & let us out of the lift. When I booked the lady assured me that the facilities would be suitable to my requirements & also told me that there were issues with no air conditioning in the room's, but rang through & confirmed with the hotel, that our required room, would have air conditioning & everything we required.... I was told that our room had a brand new air con & was freshly renovated & would be perfect for us, well that was grossly wrong in every which was..

Clean room but furnishings looking very tired

Our stay was ok except for the leaking toilet which left the bathroom floor wet all the time and our feet wet every time we used the bathroom.

The staff are friendly and accommodating. They will cater to your request fast. It's a convenient place to stay if you are just staying with no cooking although there is a 2-burner in the kitchen but cookware and utensils are missing. Guess you can request for it from the reception as I requested for a toaster and it was sent to my room. It is clean too. It would be nice if a sponge for dishwashing and a lotion is available. Just tried to stay here to compare it with another service unit I always use nearby.

One night stay. Problems with flat batteries key and remote. Shower leaks all over floor. No USB ports.

I had no contact with staff beyond check in and check out - 3 days.

It was a very hot day, air conditioning worked wonderfully well. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a very spacious room. Everything was very clean and car parking was a reasonable price. The staff were very efficient and friendly.

Staff were friendly and room was clean, however the queen bed was actually 2 singles put together, the freezer didn't freeze anything and they expect guests to pay to use the wifi. Wouldn't stay there again.

The pillows were old and lumpy and the mattress needed replacing. I ended up with a bad back ache because of it. Since our last stay, the toiletries have been scaled back significantly and the WiFi is now charged. This is typical Accor.
