We arrived late at the airport, booked on landing and the booking confirmed immediately. The check in was easy, the young lady on the desk friendly and extremely helpful. She even found times and location of the bus back to the airport. The room was great, larger than expected, with tea, coffee etc. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

The property was stylish and modern. The amenities were excellent. It was well located although initially was a little hard to find, only because we didn’t know the city. The restaurant located at the hotel was fantastic. The food and service was awesome. The only thing we were disappointed in was the view and lack of balcony. This is a minor criticism though.

Staff great, most helpful and friendly. Location super central easy walk to restaurants, cbd etc.. Pool and Spa Pool - big tick Room was kept stocked with fresh towels and clean. Hotel, well our floor at least - the hallway carpet very tired and in need of replacement. Our 2 bedroom apartment only had one bathroom and toilet o things were pretty tight for 5 females Restaurant food was a bit disappointing and we were underwhelmed I’ve stayed in our Mantra Hotels and been impressed with the rooms etc but sadly not this time

Very welcoming and friendly staff in all areas. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival with a room upgrade and complementary sparkling wine on arrival. Unfortunately, although clean, the room was tired and in need of repair /upgrade. Peeling wallpaper, cracked tiles, chipped paint on doors and stained carpets. Due to the COVID issue, it was understandable that the buffet breakfast was not available, but with a limited menu and a few items unavailable, the breakfasts were disappointing.

>My son checked in a day ahead of us. I had arranged with desk that they would use my credit card and sent through the authorising forms. No one was aware of this upon my son's checkin. >My wife was woken at 8:30 on day three by drilling in a room near us. I tried to ring reception to find out how long this would continue, phone in room not working. When I asked front desk they knew nothing about it. >At 15:00 on day three I had to walk to front desk and ask for room to be cleaned. We had clean room sign up since 09:00. >Used ice bucket and glasses sitting beside lift doors for 36 hours, still there when we checked out. >the day before checout, I had asked if front desk was manned 24x7 as had a 5:30 departure. Upon departure front desk was empty for 20 mins, there was a sign stating this but this did not assist as I had a very short timeframe before pickup. >balcony had stains and appeared to not have been cleaned for a long time.

We played $60 more than rate was at time of booking. Suggesting to reception maybe an upgrade for paying more, was told not possible. The room we had looked into concrete walls and felt very cclostraphobic. Was meant to be a special night for us , but was very disappointing.

we were told when we arrived that the only room available was 'wheelchair access' and we would move the next day to a 'normal' room on the samefloor. When I queried this later was told that everything we were told by the receptionist was wrong and the room we could move to was on the twelve floor rather than the 6th that we were on. I was told that when I made the booking late September, a wheelchair access room was all that was available, but when I asked why this was not put on my booking acknowledgement I was told that the rooms were not allocated until the day before guests arrive!! A lot of lying. Very unsatisfactory. We had to ask for chairs as there were none, and one of the ones given to us was broken and had to be replaced. When were told that we were to ignore everything we had been told when booking in, there was no apology. very poor

It is an uncomfortable, in fact I'd go as far as say unpleasant, experience at reception checking in and the attitude towards AccorPlus membership appears to be treated with contempt by not honering the priveliges of a Platinum Member (except for the first time I actually got a room uprade which was the first time ever which was the onlt upside of 3 to 4 stays this year) and definitely a long way off the mark in comparison to other Accor group motels around Australia, NZ and Asia from my own personnal experience. Irrespective of being an AccorPlus member, it took 3 trips up and down the lifts before I had a door key that worked so I could get in to my room and the lifts were rediculously slow and I had an engagement to get to of which I was late as a result. Also, the woman at reception told me I had to fill out all of my personal details on the check-in form, yet again, despite me telling her I'll filled them all out at least 2 times previously just this year and I will be on your system already. The experience overall was appauling.
