I loved the big towels, the balcony, and the big bed. Although I booked at $195.00 & was charged $205.00, it was a good place for a pre-flight hotel. It was very clean, and suitably furnished. We found the GM on the front desk at checkout and he was very engaging. I understand the closures during COVID, so maybe a microwave in the room would have helped with buying dinner at the supermarket.

The carpet was damp/wet in the lounge room (we had a suite) so the room smelt as if it had been sprayed with perfume to mask the damp smell. Cigarett burns in the curtains, cigarette butts as well as rubbish on the balcony. The funny thing is what I was charged a $100 bond (understand this is normal) incase of damages. I had to report to reception about the above so I was liable for the damages already in the room when we arrived. Our driver to the airport was grumpy and just threw our suitcases in the back with no care. Also when we arrived at the airport and he opened the boot door one felt out on to the ground. I understand that they probably go through worse during a flight but was still a shock to see it get done right in front of you. Reception staff upon check in and check out were lovely and friendly though so that was a positive from the stay but unfortunately that’s all I can say that was good about it

Excellent and attentive staff, comfortable room . But I purchased the package with carparking and an $18 dessert neither of these were available so should not be offered on the website. When l was choosing the website all so said 24 hour room service which was one of the reasons I chose The Manyra

The slope/lip on the shower is dangerous, my daughter slipped over on the slope while exiting the shower and hurt her head on the crest of the tray lip (where the door would be if closed)

very disappointing that on 2 occasions my room wasn't serviced. The excuse of blaming Covid is just rubbish. I was not told and did not see a sign anywhere that you needed to ask for your room to be serviced. The spa area also was not operational also blamed on Covid! what has that got to do with it? Considering the restrictions placed on people visiting Melbourne at the moment this would have been welcome relief rather than being confined to your room. I will not be happy staying in this hotel again.

Stayed here during stage 4 lockdown for work, due to early flight the next morning. Front desk was lovely and explained changes in regards to room, parking and delivery of food. If i need to stay overnight for a flight i will be choosing here. close to the airport, but far enough away that its nice an quiet.
