We started our NZ holiday here and it was perfect. Our room had an incredible lake view, all the staff were friendly and helpful and it was a short walk to the town centre. We didn't want to leave!

The room fixture are old, some of the cooking stuff were very dirty. The door of the room is facing the garden which is lack of privacy.

the balcony area and the general cleanliness of the room was not good. The bathrooms cabinets were all warped and showing the signs of not being well cleaned.

Walked into our apartment and were completely delighted at the immense size, quality of furnishings, fireplace, balcony. Total deluxe experience. All staff we interacted with were friendly and polite. Only a short 5 min walk to town. Will definitely pick Peppers again for our next stay!

Our booking was made last May 2019. We were assured of a high quality apartment. The only aspect of the property which was quality was the view. We were personally in a windowless room with no ventilation. The mattress was poor quality along with the pillows and duvet which were all synthetic which made it even hotter.... The servicing of the room on our five day stay was a disgrace. On two of the five days we were out for the whole day and we returned at 4.30pm our room was not serviced. Then when it was cleaned it was done of course superficially.....The excuse by staff was that they needed to do those suites vacating first in preparation for a new client. What about looking after the clients that you already had and enhancing their stay. After all we were paying customers.... you has in hand....extremely poor

Excellent location, lovely helpful staff, delicious breakfast & the room furnishings and bathroom amenities were great. Your rooms however are very noisy as the adjoining doors have not been soundproofed. We moved from 202 to 303 and found the same problem of noise coming from next door. You really need to attend to this as it’s the number one customer complaint in online reviews.

We had a king bed room which was very comfortable, however it should be noted that cas it was attached to an interconnecting room, the Noise travels easily through closed internal door. This is most unsatisfactory. It seems very room ending in 01 is an interconnected room. Perhaps this should be explained at check in. Also room had minor superficial repairs on wall, left unpainted. Room appeared very tired.

Room was very loud. Every night there was noisy neighbours (which wouldn’t have just been loud for us as they were very loud in the courtyard area as well). Entry doors are too close together so it sounds like someone is trying to get into your room every time the neighbour comes in or out. Room service/make up is ludicrous to get done in the late afternoon. Surely more staff could be used.

Lovely location and staff. Our only issue was the reservation team. We made an error in our booking and called within a fee hours to remedy. After many calls and inquiries the reservation manager refused to work with us, which left an unpleasant impression. Shame because the rest of the staff is wonderful.

We came to stay for a concert in Queenstown. Check in was over an hour late as our room wasn’t cleaned. When we arrived in the room one of the bedrooms hadn’t been cleaned and we had to wait for housekeeping to return. The overall apartment was quite grubby with finger marks on left all over the kitchen. Car parking was $24 a car which we felt was quite excessive given the cost of the apartment. The front desk did bring us up a bottle of wine which was kind.

Ideally located within easy walking distance to center of town, yet far enough to be away to enjoy the quiet, peacefulness of the view. Staff was extremely helpful. Accommodations were clean, comfortable and provided everything we might need. A minor problem with the shower drain was addressed immediately. I would definitely recommend.

I have a number of complaints. We have been using Peppers Beacon for over 10 years and we always book for 10-14 days each year.First, when we book we always book a Lakeview apartment,normally on the 10th floor as it is quiet. I booked a year ago last year to stay in the last two weeks in February. Despite this, the receptionist allocated us to Apt 302. The street noise was horrible so we asked to move so she sent us to Apt 812. Our compliants of 812 are as follows: the wifi was hopeless, every time we went out or turned off my phone the wifi defaulted to the QT hotel next door!This happened every time so we had to reset it many times a day despite following the instructions. Several of the wooden surfaces had been sanded off prior to painting. Scruffy look. The dishwasher broke down and couldn't be fixed.The clothes dryer broke down so my wife had to use the public laundry.It was eventually fixed. Reception tried to charge us for car-parking which we were told was complimentary. The final debit was higher than the quoted price. When I had to ring Peppers I was told that was the credit card loading.It would have been nice to have been told this.

Cozy mood of living room , every convinience tools for the kitchen, two bedroom, plenty of amenities of restroom, good location.. almost things were good. But the view of my room wasn't lake, it was very sad for me. I couldn't check that because I've been there first time. And service charge was so high compared with the room price. But I totally recommend this place, and I'll use next time..(as lake view).
