We were happy with the hotel until the check out time. They tried to charge us for the parking we didn't use. We explained we didn't use the car park but the receptionist insisted it needs to be charged. We spoke to the manager and asked her to check the CCTV. Later she emailed us and apologized it was their error. What was mostly unpleasant was that the receptionist disregarded what we were saying and insisted we had to pay (for the service we didn't use), like we were lying.

Disappointed with Ist room on 24th July. Large stain on couch and level of maintenance not up to standard. Room 710 allocated to us on 28th July we could not fault.

We had a wonderful stay at Peppers Beacon! We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment which gave us ample room. The room was clean, and supplied everything that we would need during our stay. The only problem we had was the wifi, it only worked in one room and was very unreliable. Great accommodation and a perfect location!

Good location but the room was cold and not child friendly

Check-in was not good as I phoned when I booked the room for an early check in..Took my number but received no call.As we tried to check in at 14.00 was told it would be another 45min..Not sure why nobody phoned us to say they were running late.. Reception people were a bit careless about it...

My only complaint is that I eas given an adjoining room. This wouldnt be a problem if there was adequate sound proofing which there wasn't. We could hear every conversation and movement of our neighbours. We felt like we we sharing a room with strangers.

Stayed two nights, front of house staff pleasant and nice to deal with. Room was nice and tidy but a little tired and in need of some new paint etc. Bathroom fan did not work so room filled with steam after shower. We did not know we were being put in a room with a accessible bathroom which we would have asked to change had we known. Water covered the entire floor wile showering because of the shower curtain which was very annoying. But otherwise, was a good stay.

Unfortunately I think we just got a bad room. Our room had air conditioning units outside the window which made it very noisey to open the doors and the view was limited. The terrace outside was covered in glass so you could not stand on the small terrace. I had also smelt the smell of vomit all weekend and eventually realised that there was a strong sick smell beside the bed. There had obviously been an attempt to clean it but the smell was still very strong. When I mentioned it to the lady at reception she did not offer any compensation and didn't seem to believe me. The location is great and I would be looking for a different room next time.

First arrive, shower had a massive leak, insinkerator was jammed, also card key locks frequently didn’t work. Not ideal with a new born and a 3 year. Happened 4 times. Staff would blame it on where we were keeping the cards even tho we reassured them we were keeping the cards away from devices and other cards and they still failed.
