Great location and overall slightly satisfied. Did note that the blankets did not look like they had been washed. Had to chase up another remote for the movie channel but in the end found it amongst the cushions on the couch which means it wasn't properly cleaned before our stay. No Water jug in the fridge and a small tiny pint of milk issued for tea and coffee......there should have at least been 2 of them considering the charge per night. Look forward to the day the restaurant opens again. Have stayed a few time and will return regardless.

I booked a studio apartment with marina views. The apartment was small in size; very similar to a standard room. There where markings on the walls and the blind cords had been ripped from the walls. I have stayed in a 3.5 star resort with better cleanliness. Gardens needed some TLC. Poor singage; we actually drove past the resort 3 times trying to find the entrance/reception.

We stayed for 3 nights on our way to Hamilton and what an incredible venue! The fact that we were upgraded to a 3 bedrooms apartment was a great start. The view from our room was outstanding, the pool on one side and the harbour on the other side! The place is straight off the ferry which is super convenient. Best place, we will be back next year!!!!

After having booked in advance and paid for my two (2) night stay, in advance, upon arrival things went downhill. 1. No early check in (which was fine), however, desk staff advised they would call if the room became available before 2pm. My partner and I returned at 1:30pm to ask, and was advised the room was ready - no phone call as promised; 2. Upon arrival was advised that the restaurant was closed. Note: when I booked I messaged with my booking a request to book dinner for two nights at the restaurant and also a request for water views. No one bothered to respond to my request upon book to advise the restaurant was closed; and that I would not have water views with my room. 3. Our room was a 'disabled access room' with an enormous bathroom designed specifically for a wheelchair - very clinical and totally open - just one large space with a showerhead from the wall. Water pressure was terrible too. It was not the kind of romantic room I envisaged from the pictures on the booking website. Light switches were lower as well so they could be accessed by a person in a wheelchair. The room had views of the Nelly Bay Car Park - again, I had requested water views and no one bothered to respond to my request. It would have been nice to have known that this would be my room. I would not have stayed at the resort. I would have booked accommodation elsewhere. 4. I expressed my disappointment to desk staff - no one cared. I simply was told that there were no other rooms. I expressed my disappointment upon checking out too - again, no one cared. I was told to email my concerns. For a two night stay, there was absolutely nothing I would rate for the money I paid for this room. I will not stay here again and I will not recommend the resort to my friends and family. I am a Townsville resident.

Was booked as a gift from family for our honeymoon. Looked nothing like the superior studio room in pictures. Was on bottom floor no balcony, shared the patio no privacy and the room was ugly to say the least. Very ordinary. When my mother complained as was very upset was offered an apartment on ground floor at additional $250 for our stay! Won’t be back and won’t reccomend. Was recommended to my mother but obviously we got the worst room? Won’t be back and won’t recommend to friends a mind family.

We usually have a good time in a clean room with all that peppers offers, the kitchen was dirty, squashed bugs in all of the blinds someone else's socks from the previous stay. The pool is usually a major factor but unfortunately there were a bunch of young kids swearing and carrying on there, with our son we couldn't sit there and listen to it.

Everything was great. Except I can't understand why the restaurant hasn't re-opened when in NQ covid restrictions have lifted long ago, and pubs, clubs and restaurants have been allowed to open for some time.

I stay with you guys multiple times a year, this is the first time after our stay we've decided we will stay elsewhere. Our 3 bedroom apartment did not have air condition in one room which in North Queensland is just absolutely unforgivable I have my baby in a room that did not have a controlled temperature in North Queensland. Which then meant we had babiws in our room on the ground so no it wasn't a nice relaxing stay for us and when I booked online in no way did it mention the air conditioning. When I rang the front counter they told us it was ducter cooling, when I said it wasn't she again said no it is when I explained that there are separate air conditioners on the walls and then none in the third room she said oh well all apartments are different. Just not good enough

Our experience was unfortunately very disappointing. Not only did we pay over $730 for a 2 night stay at an apartment we found the room to be unkept and would definitely not return. There was no air conditioning in the only bedroom of the apartment to which there was a rusty pedal stool fan in the room. The pillows on the couch in the main living area had stains on them. The carpet was observed to have not been cleaned or vacuumed. And unfortunately on the second night we found silverfish in the bed sheets. I took photos as evidence and feel extremely disappointed that we had paid a large amount of money for this poor experience. On the first day we went to order lunch at the restaurant and was greeted by a rather abrupt staff member who kept repeating they have had no food open since March and kept pushing us to buy alcohol. Unfortunately I am a breastfeeding mother with two young children and did not feel comfortable by her mannerism. Because of this we do not feel we would be able to return to Peppers.

We were disappointed with our stay at Peppers Blue on Blue. Peppers used to be synonymous with quality. 1. Our greeting on arrival was "Can I help you". Not welcome to Peppers. Not is this your first visit. Just a nod of the head and an attitude of what do you want. Most certainly not welcoming whatsoever. 2. Room was not ready on arrival. 3. Room had some maintenance issues. 4. Toilet paper was not restocked on the first day 5. Our bathmat was removed on the second day and not replaced 6. Milk was not restocked until our last day. This was all in a serviced apartment. 7. But most important and biggest disappointment was that not once when we walked through the reception area where we greeted by staff. Being our first visit to the Island, you expect a person touch when booking with what is supposed to be one of the best accommodations on the island.
