The lodge is nestled in the woodlands of Cradle Mountain and provides the perfect base for exploring the wilderness of St Claire National Park and Cradle Mountain Lake. Rooms have a rich colour palette, cosy fireplace and housekeeping daily. You will be in close proximity to great walking tracks. Boardwalks connect to the main lodge and are also a popular thoroughfare with the native wildlife, providing delightful and unexpected animal sightings.

We were put into the wrong room, which meant we had to move to the other end of the grounds in the dark, no offer of help was offered. I was charged the wrong amount. Tavern was nice good food and staff.

Location and staff were wonderful. Rooms a bit dated and pricey. Menu selection limited especially as no other options readily available.

Location is excellent- however the standard of facilities, and service is way below average considering the cost of the stay

The lodge does not cater for guests arriving with no car - everything is so difficult … took for ever to answer phone sometimes never - that was from the room calling reception even calling from outside no answer - Spa only had one person over the weekend and closed Monday public holiday .. but considering the busiest time - guests pay for such an experience it should be available… I have no problem paying for quality but cradle mountain lodge is way over priced for what you get … My daughter was bullied by a bartender in the tavern - to apologise for being supposedly rude to the staff - she never spoke to the chef even though that was told to her and the staff member could hardly speak English - she was told to apologise or she wouldn’t receive the ordered meal for her 14 month year old son - absolutely outrageous!! Our family is in hospitality in Sydney and we certainly would never have withheld food from a customer waiting for an apology… I was overcharged over $2000 on check in which I picked up on check out - I would never recommend your lodge - And that is such ashame as I love the area - it is so beautiful..

Many bumps in the road in terms of getting the wrong accommodation, poor quality meat provided at the tavern and very average accommodation. The stay was comfortable but nothing special.

We loved every part of our stay at Peppers Mountain Lodge. From the moment we entered our gorgeous cabin welcomed by the glow of a log fire (even if gas fired) to the magnificent surrounds, delicious food options, friendly hosts- everything was covered to make our stay remarkable. I even received a box of chocolates from the staff to celebrate my birthday such was the attention detail.
