Our 2 night stay was both comfortable and convenient. Our large room had a kind sized bed with all the conveniences of a high end stay. On site restaurant and bar allowed us to dine in and enjoy a few drinks each night. We were in walking distance to local cafes, CBD shopping and even a longer walk to the war memorial.

We really enjoyed our stay at Peppers Gallery Hotel. We found all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Our room was plenty big enough for the two of us. Because of Covid restrictions our room was not serviced but we were able to get clean towels etc when needed. We were a bit apprehensive about the breakfast arrangements but were pleasantly surprised at how tasty and adequate the meal was. We ate at the restaurant once and really enjoyed the food and went back to our room feeling full. We had cocktails in the bar each day which was a real treat. We tried something different each time. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Rooms were small but expected given the age of the building. However, on the first day of the the stay the room was not serviced but one has to make allowances for COVID-19. Great food and service in the restaurant.

Disappointing. TV did not work. Light in bathroom did not work. Had to move room at night. Initially no choice for breakfast. Breakfast was late next morning by half an hour. Dinner not up to standard. Part of the ingredients left off meal.

Have stayed many times over past 12 or so years. I understand you've not long opened after COVID shutdown, but the TV didn't work properly, the fridge wasn't turned on and there was no milk in the mini bar & there was no offer to replace the tea & coffee each day. I understand the restaurant wasn't open for breakfast because it hasn't opened up again yet. It wasn't a great experience this time, hopefully next time it will be.

I know it's hard with Covid restrictions. We weren't told about no room make up at time of check-in - not a major problem, just require better communication. The breakfast delivered to the room wasn't very nice - should have a check list which guests can choose own breakfast (within reason).

If I was a person returning to "Isolation" I would have expected more. Procedures were "amateurish" at best

Not up to the usual Peppers standards. Facilities limited. Very small bar area which was used for dining! Restaurant for dinner fabulous but not available for breakfast???? Room small but comfortable albeit a little outdated. Bed head had vinyl peeling off it! Perfect for an overnight stay but not an extended one. Outdoor areas limited in size.

A pleasant stay of 5 nights. TV reception terrible, I had to resort to watching iView on my tablet device. Loudest fridge in the world, sounded like an old bus driving up a very steep hill. Shower went from cold to scalding in an instant, perhaps a more sensitive nozzle/ heat adjuster is needed. Didn't discover the landline phone in a cupboard until the last day of our stay, it could have been useful. Otherwise a very comfortable, clean accommodation.

We stayed for 3 nights, there was no cleaning during our stay, I understand the current situation with covid is difficult. My problem is why this was not informed earlier, during the booking. We could have booked an cheaper appartments stay instead of a hotel stay which doesn’t provide cleaning services for 3 night stay. I feel that I have be miss guided to pay full price for less service.

This was our second stay at this hotel. On the first night, we waited 35 minutes for our drinks to be served to our table. The room satisfied, however the shower pressure was poor and adjusting the temperature difficult. Breakfast delivery was scheduled for 8.30am both mornings, we were called after this time asking when we wanted breakfast? We had a noon checkout on Sunday, and we were called by reception at 10.15am asking us when we were leaving! Unfortunately there was quite a few things we were not happy with, and with all the competition in the area, we will not be returning to Peppers Gallery Hotel

1. Restaurant and Bar experience left a lot to be desired. Staff in restaurant and bar appear to be completely incompetent and appeared to be 'just running around in circles' 2. Foxtel channels not working at all. Only free to air channels. 3. No milk in fridge and, when asked about this on checkout, was told that due to COVID-19, no milk in room fridges and was told that this was due to other people possibly touching the milk, even when in a sealed container. No note in the room advising that milk can only be obtained from reception. Why wait until checkout to be told this?

It is correct that inline with our new globally recognized safety protocol that a lot of additional/non-essential items have been removed from the room. There is a letter that should have been handed over to you on check-in highlighting these additional measure, and I am sorry that this did not occur. In reference to you comments regarding bar service, we do recognize that there was a shortage over the weekend due to staff illness and was covered to the best of our ability.
