Great being able to cook our own meals and have enough space to walk around after recent spinal surgery. Also being able to wash our own towels and bedding with covid being around was great as well.

We chose the Johnson for its proximity to the St Andrew’s Hospital where my husband had a specialist’s appointment. It also offered an ‘assistable room’ with walk-in shower and hand rails . Everything met and surpassed our expectations. The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious and comfortable. The reception staff went that extra mile and treated us so kindly that it made us feel almost like family. You should be very proud of Dominic and Zack! We were a bit nervous about this trip as Mike has a serious health issue . So it really meant a lot to be so well looked after. Nothing seemed too much bother . Dinner and breakfast were a breeze with several good eating places right across the road . We were able to have a leisurely walk to the appointment. No stress at all! An extra benefit was the beautiful artwork throughout the hotel. Michael Johnson’s vibrant colours really lift the spirit. Thank you so much . We will definitely be back. Gayle and Mike F..

Checked in really late at night and was still greeted with a warm welcome from the gentleman at reception. Shout out to the same guy for being so kind as to give us what we requested late at night. Thank you also to the team for our lovely welcome card and gifts. Will definitely be back!

Love almost everything about The Johnson, Springhill. To get a little picky, one thing that bothers me a bit is the firmness or rather, lack of firmness, of the beds that at least I have experienced. I need quite firm mattresses that def supply a nice straight back from head to toe. Otherwise all good. Love the art of the place and the staff are always exceptional!

Simply:- Really enjoyed the stay Only possible criticism is the limited space in the carpark. Very hard to manoeuvre a car like a utility or 4x4 unless you have a small vehicle.

This was the first time I had stayed at an Art Series, I was very impressed with the service and the quality of the room. They gifted us a bottle of wine as it was my partner's birthday, this small gesture now has me hooked on this hotel. I will most definitely only be staying here when I visit Brisbane from now on.

No booking then 30 mins to check in

Arrived and there was no booking record. The reception team then spent a long time trying to find it rather than just booking me into another room. They then took $100 hold for incidentals when there was no mini bar and the restaurant had closed down, so in essence no ability to actually incur any incidentals

Arriving by car was difficult as I was advised by guest relations I just had to drive to the entrance of the hotel then go inside to check in - not so. Lack of a restaurant or cafeteria was a huge disappointment.

Everything was great. Only problem we had was with the a/c. One controller didn't work, the ones in the rooms were so close to the bed that we were hot and cold through the night. We stayed 2 nights and neither of us got great sleep.

Lovely stay Clear Instructions on parking would be helpful - I arrived - drove around the block several times to work our where to go Parked in front in metres parking and had to download the park app pay for 10 minutes ( tow zone) so I could come check in and then went back to move my car -
