Room was fantastic for a family and great value for money. Very comfortable. The only issue we had was a major ant problem on the first night which we solved by not bringing food into the apartment or by leaving in the fridge or car.

Was good, I’ve stayed there before and will again. I told the reception lady that our dishwasher, one of the elements on the stove top wasn’t working and there was no Foxtel. Otherwise was great.

f. staff. Quick easy check in/out. My main concern was the room we stayed in. The main door had no safety latch. My 2 year old was able to pull the door open and escape into lobby and could have quite possibly entered the lift. My husband and I were worried all night that she could have slid her bedroom door open gotten out the front door in the middle of the night while we were sleeping! What a terrible design for a ‘family room’.

There were dirt marks on the walls in the bathroom, a dead cockroach next to the couch and a dead one in the dishwasher. The room was very rundown and we were disappointed with the state of it considering there’s a pandemic. There was no real sign of effort for cleanliness except at reception where there were separate containers for used pens and clean pens. No signage in the room or any notification to ensure us that it had been cleaned to the Covid requirement. We will not be returning.

We usually stay at Mantra hotels and love them, but this particular one left a bad taste in our mouths. To start with, the reason we booked this hotel was because of the heated pool and the playground for the kids. We were not informed until the day we arrived that facilities were closed. The cleanliness, or lack of, was the next issue. Dead cockroaches, dirty glasses in the kitchen, brown splatter on the wall behind the toilet, pillows with wet spots on them, are just to name a few. The doors of the apartments do not lock from the inside. One of our group had a 2yo that could open the door herself and leave the apartment. There was not even a door chain. Honestly, we won't be back again.

Did not get what we paid for . We paid for cable tv and it was not working. We contacted staff 4 times and they still did not fix it during our 10 night stay . They the mid stay cleaning that was paid for did not happen and when asked for a refund they would not lessen and said I would not be getting a refund

Bathroom not cleaned properly, ball of hair still in shower grate, no extra rubbish bin liners, oven not clean, racks stuck won't move....... It rained quiet a bit and also noticed wet patch on the bedroom floor (the window was closed) Not a good room if you want to sleep in - noise from the garbage shute was loud

Great location & amazing views from every room of the apartment which was spotlessly clean. Minor issue with tv having no channels programmed on arrival which was dealt with within minutes of calling the front desk. Loved having access from our apartment directly to supermarket,restaurants and entertainment

The checkin process was smooth and quick, was great to have free parking in a central location. Apartment was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The cleanliness was not up to the mark as the centre table in the living room was dusty and had some food remains of the previous guest still left under the table. Found hair in the bathroom.

Hotel is in a great location, views from our apartment on the 18th floor were terrific. Check in staff were very helpful and friendly. The only criticism we have is the need for the rooms to be better cleaned. Carpets were dusty and needed vacuuming , windows were very cloudy. This unfortunately seems to be an issue with the last couple of Mantra locations the we have stayed in.

Good experience at check in. TV in bedroom was not working, and was advised that nothing could be done - will have to contact owner. Foxtel was not working? With the current COVID-19, I would have expected that all surfaces would have been wiped and sanitised - there were several finger prints on kitchen door handles and cupboards. I was unsure of the overall sanitisation process, so I washed all crockery and cutlery prior to use. Overall a tad disappointing.

Lacked in Cleanliness

The cleanliness of the apartment was disappointing. Walls and vents were dusty, the kitchen floor, tap, and microwave had food residue. The dirty towels were in the washing machine from the previous occupants (Not particularly Covid safe). The decorative covers on the single beds in which my children would be sleeping had dried white residue (I would attach a picture if this platform had the function). Above this, the staff were great in particular the housekeeping who were tasked to clean the kitchen floors and the Duty Manager Emma who was sincerely apologetic and gave an understanding of the circumstances.

Staff were great .. the room was not cleaned proper .. Had old soap in the shower .. muck on the kitchen floor .. I saw a roach so had to wash all the dishes before we used them. Both nights there was party going off in the above room ppl yelling over the balcony had to contact hotel security.. at 1am ..

Will not be going to Mantra again. Previously we have had a good experience with the services Mantra provides. HOWEVER last weekend, when we arrived to our room we found yellow, pink and orange stains on tables, tv stand and bed stands. There was damage to the stove. There was writing covering one of the tables and AN EMPTY CHIP PACKET AND SOCK under one of the beds. When we requested a room change, the lady at reception was impatient, rude and not willing to help us out. We had to stay in our room despite the hotel being empty. Our friends had another room that was in good condition. It was disappointing to see such poor service. Will not be going back. Sad.
