Excellent stay but a few issues

Staying at Movenpick Cam Ranh is always great, the hotel facilities are amazing, the activities are very good as well, especially for kids. Rooms are very confy and the breakffast is also one of the reason why I've decided to come back. One big issue we have faced though and I wanted to let you know about it : I've left my 2 years old daughter to the kid's club and went away after fully and dully completed the information sheet and saying goodbye both to my daughter and the staff. About 30 minutes later, some friends of mine who were at the lobby call me and tell me my daughter is here with them and without any supervision... Now that is a major fault as my daughter can't swim and she basically could have drawned in seconds. I went to the kid's club to get an explanation, none was given, probably because the english level of the staff there did not permitted her to understand what happened. I then went to the lobby counter where the employee apologized but no explanation was given either. I did not receive any feedbacks from anyone and was trully disappointed by that one experience. My advice to you : don't change anything expect the kid's club management. Either you tell parents that you can't handle the kids because you've got too many either if you do decide to manage the kids, the very least you should do is to keep them safe which you have failed to do on that occasion. No hard feelings, just wanted to let you know.

The facilities and staff are nice. The room is clean and spacious. A recommendation for the special occasion dinner though: We were having the buffet dinner at Panorama on the Lunar New Year's eve. On the promotion leaflet, it promised a traditional Vietnamese buffet for that occasion. But honestly, we could not see any traditional foods (spring rolls, boiled chicken, Banh Chung, Banh Tet...) so it was a put-off for us. The quality of foods was not even similar to that of our breakfast the next morning.

My family had an interesting Tet holiday at the resort: my room 208 Hon Mieu is in the most beautiful location of the resort, the resort has many amusement parks for all ages and delicious food.

Our family had a wonderful time at Movenpick during Tet holiday. The resort has it all, everything we needed for a chillaxing family gathering. The staff was super friendly and helpful, we found no problem at getting help from them all the time.

Perfect holiday, excellent foods(but less variety of drinks), very good provided activities, clean, good hospitality. However, golf cart needs better management, we never ever got informed the waiting time, as the result, it always came late than our expectations 30 minutes waiting time on the last staying day.

We found the service to be often unprofessional and not well thought out. A cart driver took my wife and kids to a play area only to arrive and tell them it’s closed. Why not tell them before going there?? I ordered a bottle of champagne and 30 minutes later the server came to tell me they are sold out. There are many ticky tack charges on things like ice, and use of pots and pans for a villa that is fitted with a stove. What good is a stove without the pan? They tried to charge me for washing a dirty towel. The beach was very nice but not policed for garbage and we found a used hypodermic needle in the sand. We don’t plan to stay with Movenpick again.

Room is very spacious, all , all seaview, vitamin sea, windy with fresh air. , Good service. All staff from checkin receptionist, restaurant, rope park, swimming pool . All of them are very nice. A lot of activities for kids, water park, rope park, ... Food is nice, but serve very slow. Could be improved. Thanks!

Amazing stay

We had only 1 night at the the resort but it was money well spent. Everything screamed wow at the 1st moment we drove through the gate. The staff was very friendly, our daughter loved the pool and playground so much we had to promise her that we'll come back for a longer stay next summer.

A few details wasted our user experience in the room, like a big wind noise when we arrived (ok after fixing) some issues with the card power supply activation, but the worst was we didn't have hot water. I asked 2 times to the the reception but nothing happened...
