We had a good experience and a good upgrade but the issue was that we had to wait for a loooong period in the check-in although the check-in online was done and we came even 2h after the planned time. Even the checkout took some time and we didn't find a desk for members and we were obliged to wait for a quite a long period

The bed was fantastic and the air conditioner worked perfectly. But the bathroom sink wouldn't drain (though I stoppered and unstoppered it) and one of the wall plug face plates was not attached to the wall. Another plug had something wrong with it - the charger I plugged into it turned fiery hot but didn't charge my device. The sliding glass door was rickety and hard to operate. Since the restaurant was closed on Sunday, the only food available was bar food - some very dry chicken kabobs and a cheese plate that, while generous, was not garnished. It was just two dozen thick slices of cheese. Like I said - generous - but a hotel of this calibre should put a handful of grapes or something to make all that cheese go down. No one can just eat slice after slice of cheese! The attention to COVID safety measures was great at the front desk, but uneven elsewhere in the hotel. The maids did a great job, as did the room service folks, but not many had their masks on properly. That's hard to enforce in such heat, though, I totally understand - it just means a bit more uncertainty about the safety of being in a hotel. All in all, a very mixed experience.

the Movenpick team is very nice and welcoming, taking care of their guest in a professional manners. they are always ready to support, very easy going and flexible The young lady Mayssa was so nice with us taking care of each details of our stay. Thanks The Chef Mr Chamsedine was amazing he has prepared a great meals on daily basis. The waiter Mohamed he was so nice with us bringing everyday our breakfast and ready to customize it based on our need and on the spot. Thanks, please keep going as it is with your big banana smile.

We had a very pleasant stay, the hotel and the location are both exceptional. Excellent services and staff. The first night was a bit noisy though. I would probably choose a suite with the seaview for a future stay.

Buffet needs to be more consistent from opening to closing times. There was a leak in bathroom that made floor very wet you need more maintance coverage in rooms. Overall hotel was very nice and well maintained. The staff was very professional and well presented.
