The rooms are clean and modern. Great view, but the real difference was made by the staff, very attentative and in a contageously good mood, made the stay very comfortable.

The hotel was very quiet due to corona ofcourse, but the room was very good and the location so close to the city center and central station is great. When we ordered room service they brought our order up to the door to avoid any possibility of getting covid. We were very happy to see these precautions

I am very satisfied with the service that you guys provided. I was taking shower when waiter delivered my breakfast, then he waited me about 15mins outside of my room. This is where service jump from good to extraordinary. The reception also opened the gym for in morning 6.30am. Food was very delicious and high quality. Only one thing I need to complain is nigh shift manager at the reception should watch his attitude! You almost destroyed all the good impressions I had in this brilliant hotel.

We stayed at Movenpick for a night for my wifes birthday. The hotel was kind enough to accomodate my request of a room with a good view. They even did some decoration in the room for the birthday. The breakfast spread was good (we have American breakfast). I highly recommend Movenpick if you are staying in Amsterdam

Had a room for a day to work quietly. Enjoyed breakfast and good lunch. Had a 2nd screen to connect to my laptop (excellent). Great view over Amsterdam and easy parking. Coming back next week #nicechange!

We had dinner with friends and the hotel was 5 minutes walking from their apartment. The hotel was well prepared for Covid and to gave us a safe feeling.

The hotel stuff is extremely professional and tries to find best solution to each of your queries. The location is quite convenient, you are very close to the city centre but at the same time it’s quiet.

Breakfast was good. Had a really good view from the room I was given. Room was lacking what I thought would be standard for a 4 star which is a gown and slippers. The front desk seemed to lack empowerment and I did not understand why. Asking for a slightly later check out because of my evening flight seemed to have been an issue even with the hotel being at low capacity. I was initially told it would cost €50 and then told I could check out at 1 at no extra cost. A while later, I received a call informing me that I could stay until 2. During check out, I was given my deposit in cash instead of funds bring returned to the card the deposit was taken from. All in all not impressed, perhaps my expectations were too high but I will not be staying here again.

We regret this as would have given us the opportunity to assist you accordingly. Bathrobes and slippers are standard available in our Executive rooms and Junior Suites. I can see you received a free upgrade to a Superior room on a higher floor. Upon request we can provide you with mentioned items. Besides this, I also noted your remarks concerning the deposit returned in cash. In case of using a debit card, the total amount is directly withdrawn from your bank card and account as it has a different working compared to a credit card. Our Front Desk staff explains this upon arrival. As said, we regret your expectations were not met to, and respect your decision not to return. We had a wonderful stay with a nice room view! Because of the covid situation, unfortunately the wellness was closed.

The Moevenpick Hotel offers a great view over the old town and is convenient accessable by train,tram, ship and car. I arrive on a rainy morning and was please with the friendly welcome by the Fornt Office Manager Mr. John Caucian who went the extra mile to make me feel special. This is very rare these days in a big hotel. He explained the Corona meassures, gave me tips for the town and a arranged a dining table and took time explain the views from my room in the 18th floor and the use the gym. All in a very polite and charming way. Next morning I got a personal welcome from the Manager during my breakfast. This personal service make me feel very special. Together with the clean and comfi room and for sure makes me coming back next time. Well done - Top service, great rooms and a very good location.

Booked this as a surprise for my husband's birthday. Paid to upgrade to executive room on the second night. Not convinced it was worthwhile as the executive lounge wasn't open and the breakfast wasn't too good. The classic room we had originally was actually better than the executive room: same size, bigger TV and USB charging points. There was lack of communication between the staff :some were more helpful and clued up than others. Nice views of the river from the rooms. Shuttle to station is available once an hour : needs to be reserved.
