Goede locatie op loopafstand van strand, gezellige (kleine) boulevard en winkeltjes. Alle medewerkers zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, vooral de life guards bij het zwembad zijn toppers! Op het eerste oog is alles netjes en schoon, maar als je goed kijkt, vooral op de kamers naar de muren, bad, kit en voegen in badkamer, dan is het gewoon vies. Daarnaast is het enorm gedateerd allemaal en zou een flinke update/onderhoudsbeurt geen overbodige luxe zijn. Door de hoge gebouwen is er vanaf 15.00 uur ‘s middags bij het grootste gedeelte van het zwembad geen zon. Het uitzicht bij het zwembad is een hotel in aanbouw, niet heel fraai en de bouwwerkzaamheden gaan 24/7 door. Veel lawaai dus, ook hoorbaar in de kamer met deur dicht! Het eten en drinken in het hotel is duur! De kwaliteit daarentegen is middelmatig. Het ontbijt (voor ons inbegrepen) is elke dag nagenoeg hetzelfde. Veel producten liggen te lang waardoor ze oud of koud zijn. Overall hebben we een prima verblijf gehad, maar veel te duur ten opzichte van wat we ervoor hebben teruggekregen; dit is absoluut geen 5* sterren hotel!

I have personally spoken to the relevant department head as I can see there is an opportunity to offer some additional training to our colleagues about daily and final room checks. I wish we could have been informed about your experience at the same time, because we truly care about each of our guests. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I also would like to inform you that we have been working with our owners on a plan for improvement in product and good news is that the works have begun. Thank you also for your honest feedback regarding the latest investment being made in our area, as well as your experience at the pool area. As you may have also noticed, Dubai is a very dynamic and fast growing city. The high levels of investment make it a premium holiday location as the local government is working hard to create a world class destination that meets the needs and desires of a wide spectrum of visitors. Unfortunately, this is something beyond our control or supervision. I am also truly sorry that you found our prices for food & beverages a little bit expensive, however I can assure you that our prices are fully competitive to the local market. I was also genuinely sorry to hear about your comment of food variety and quality in our restaurant because this is an area for which we are well recognized for our high quality, variety of dishes and service. I have, however, forwarded your feedback to our Executive Chef, to see how we may improve service in this area, and I know that he will take this feedback very seriously. Besides this, I am delighted to read that overall you had a great experience with us and that you enjoyed the location of our hotel. Zakelijk bezoek aan Dubai, JBR fijnste stadsdeel voor een ongedwongen verblijf. Personeel erg vriendelijk, prima service. Ontbijt erg goed en de Indonesische dame van het buitenterras bij de entree erg vriendelijk en gastvrij!

Prachtig hotel met zeer vriendelijke staff. Isabella heeft ons een gratis upgrade bezorg waar we heel dankbaar om zijn. De kamer was fantastisch, evenals het ontbijt. Zeker een aanrader!

Het binnenkomen in de ruime hal is al een goed begin! Vriendelijk personeel! Onze kamer, met uitzicht op zee, was schoon, ruim en comfortabel. Ontbijt was elke ochtend een feestje! Dik tevreden!

Mooie kamer met zij-zeezicht. Er wordt in de buurt wel gebouwd. Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid erg lekker. Wij hadden een privestrand verwacht maar dat was er niet. Wel krijg je een handdoek en matje mee om zelf een plekje te zoeken op het strand. Maar dus geen parasol. Wij hebben een bedje gehuurd bij andere hotels waar we ook konden eten en drinken. In de weekenden veel lawaai, tot in de late uurtjes in het hotel

I am sorry to see that this had an impact on your stay. With regards to the noise on weekends, The Walk JBR is a very popular leisure destination, so there is a lot of activity in the area. I am sorry this had an impact on your stay. If the noise was from your neighbors, please just alert us to the situation so that we may talk with the other guests. I also do see that the Internet was an issue, and I would just like to let you know that we recently completed significant upgrade of our network and delivered lightening speed internet for our guests. Some of our guests are using VPNs that slow down the speed of connection, so this may be the issue. If this is not the case, we would greatly appreciate your feedback so that we may identify the problem and fix it. Hotel is goed onderhouden en goeie ruime kamers. Top locatie. Jammer dat er geen ligbedden en parasols op het strand van het hotel aanwezig zijn. Maar super tevreden over het personeel en onderhoud. Mevrouw bij het chocolade kar is een schat van een mens. Zodra wij haar zagen, voelden we ons thuis en zij maakte dagelijks mijn dochter blij met het chocola en haar lieve lach.

Het hotel biedt top service aan en bevindt zich op een perfecte locatie. De matrassen slapen heerlijk, maar de kussens zijn wel echt vreselijk. Het personeel is ontzettend aardig. Wat ik wel jammer vond is dat de drie persoonskamer een slaapbank/mini bed hebben, dus de derde persoon betaalt de volle pond voor een slechter bed.

I am also truly sorry that you felt that the pillows were uncomfortable and it had an impact on your stay. I am guessing you prefer a more firm pillow as our pillows are feather down. We will make a note in your profile as we do have alternatives available. I have also noticed your comment about an extra bed in your room. Just to avoid misunderstanding we would like to inform you that our rooms are designed for two adults most comfortably, but up to two small children may join on either the sofa bed or additional cot staying in a superior room. We do not advertise triple rooms, but are happy to accommodate those looking for a value driven stay. I am sorry that you felt this was still not good value. Thank you also for your suggestion about food variety during breakfast. I am happy to report that we have taken your feedback on board and we now have a revamped breakfast buffet with daily changing specialty dishes that keep the variety interesting.
