The rooms where so dirty , bed sheets where not clean , everything was broken in the room from appliances, check in experience was bad so much busy and when i went too check in too with the guest relation she told me to check in with the receptionist how ever the guest relation didnt have any guest on her desk … the toilet was broken and it took them 1 hour to bring maintenance guy to fix it and the water was on all this time because i couldn’t fix it until the maintenance guy come .. i called them to inform them i want toothbrush kit they informed me they dont have , i felt am in a 2 star hotel only the location is good for the hotel otherwise noway i return to this hotel again price wise and customer service and room cleanliness is zero rated.

Pros: 1-Good location 2- mr Ibrahim elkatib duty manager because of him I’m giving 6 but if not I’ll consider 1 is more than enough for this hotel Cons: 1-House keeping need to be well trained rooms are very dirty they just change bed sheets that’s it I received a dirty room 2-hotel is outdated need maintaining needs to be refurbished. 3- guest relations are out of order they know nothing about All membership and benefits the girl even didn’t tell me that lounge is available at the property they don’t care about your tier I’m a diamond member and received nothing. 4- property contact number was wrong on the website and on the app unless I brought it up and told them that you need to update your contact details I emailed them 2 weeks prior my arrival but they didn’t reply till now so I told them on spot hope it’s fixed now. 5- I received 2 other rooms after my room was dirty but turned that all of them were dirty as well so I stayed in my dirty lovely room. 6. ALL safe is just a sticker in this property Overall this was one of my worse stays ever I’ll never consider this hotel anymore as I don’t recommend anyone to stay here if I didn’t pay in advance I would’ve canceled the stay and changed to another hotel I stayed in this hotel by force. As a compensation they gave me breakfast for free on my last day and thanks for Mr Ibrahim as he was the only one who understood my situation and how patient I was this hotel is a trash I used to stay in Harithiya it was an Accor family it was grand Majlis mercure but now it’s frontel I also stayed in Hilton both hotels are perfect it’s my first time to stay in Movenpick but definitely it’s my last time I hope if their was a way to get refunded but I know that won’t happen but never ever stay at this hotel.

I really like Anwar Al Movenpick hotel. But it appears their standard has really gone down. The people looking after the cleaning of the rooms (the cleaner) are not effective. I saw one of them cleaning used glass cups with used towel. I told him to get rid of all the glass cups and get me disposable ones. They don't make beds everyday any more. They are just after the tips you want to give them. I spent 4 nights they did not make any attempt to hover the room or to make the bed. Very poor standard The room is very good, very standardized. I love my room and the floor I was was very quiet which I asked for. Non smoking floor. However, they need to monitor those Gus cleaning the rooms. You can not have good conversation with them because of language barrier. I will stay in Movenpick hotel again in Medinah. I always love Movenpick is one of my best Hotels

The location is convenient. The check in was fairly smooth. Although we requested a twin bed, they upgraded us to a quad room as they did not have a twin room. As an Accor member there was no recognition of this - no welcome drinks, no priority of check in etc. Fortunately they gave us a check out at 5pm on request. Breakfast - it would be helpful to have more chefs to the omelettes as the queue was long. For a 5 star hotel, more variety would have been expected.

Access to reception was not well guided, welcome gift wasn’t provided, and the receptionist at check out wasn’t professional despite we left at 3 pm as agreed upon check in. The rooms were comfortable but the restaurant was average.
