It’s supposed to be a five star hotel Mövenpick Marrakech. It’s not even close to a four star hotel! I’ve been fooled into believing this seeing the pictures and all. The lounge beda by the pools were all broken. Not enough shades to protect my two kids from the sun. The fourth day of our stay I had enough and complained to the manager Khalid (manager service). He listened and got my complaint and tried to mend the relationship by offering me a 50% discount on my last day. I paid full price for the other days, which is a terrible decision that the General Manager took. Never heard of customer relationship management. The last day of our stay, my kid of 4 years old got hurt and was bleeding. I ran to the reception asking for a bandaid and some disinfectant. After waiting for half an hour, they finally brought a medical suitcase. They opened it and it was half empty and dirty with blood stains all over it. I have the pictures to prove it! I was stunned that a so-called five star hotel didn’t even have protocols set in place for these kind of issues. I yelled tot the receptionist and he acknowledged my feelings. I eventually eventually had to bring my kid bleeding in the night to the nearest pharmacy to get him treated. Just terrible! I actually want Mövenpick to contact me and set this straight!

Also, we have taken good note of your comments and are truly sorry you did not feel attended enough when your child was injured, the team works daily to provide the best possible service to let our guests feel most valued and genuinely cared for. Our booking included diner, but we are surprised that we should pay for water!!!! Poor quality of food at diner Rooms are not well maintened, we have to request many time to have towels, hair dryers. I have stayed in Movenpick in many countries but this time I'm disappointed

The Movenpick is very convient to the airport, Central to City and shops and main tourist sites. Comfortable, friendly and welcoming with great customer service. Great breakfast and front office staff who go out if their way to help.

This hotel has be in disrepair so much so that our AC unit wouldn’t. After several calls and speaking with the in-house repair and maintenance crew the issue was still not corrected. During checkout the reception desk staff proceeded to make excuses on how the system actually works. I’ve managed construction projects for over 20 years and what was described is absolutely false. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful hotel but variable service quality

Great pools and gardens But waiting times at reception we’re awfully long each time. Sunbeds and loungers at the pool were in a poor state of repair and staff were reluctant to help find mattresses for these which were often missing. Bar staff was very inattentive and one evening we were even told in the restaurant that we would have had to reserve upfront and can‘t have a table. When we asked at reception about other nearby restaurants they said this was not correct and we then got a table straight away. Reception/concierge Information about good day trips from Marrakech was also very limited - I would expect more from a 5star hotel. Similarly, the breakfast buffet was not up to expectations for this category of hotel - hardly any fresh fruit, strangely some guests got a lot of attention from the staff whereas we didn‘t and were once told that all tables in the sun were already reserved - we had no idea that they even could be reserved. Room was super clean every day

It was ok. Check in was lengthy some confusion over the airport transfer we had booked. We have been charged twice for this (didn’t notice on checkout) and since contacting hotel have heard nothing. We’ve had better customer service.

We spent 4 nights here and the staff absolutely make this hotel. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool and gardens and spent a lot of time at the poolside. Breakfast was excellent and we had lunch a couple of times at Manso. Would definitely return!

We just got back from a 7 night stay at the Movenpick. A great property with excellent facilities. Even when busy - the service was great and the staff very pleasant and helpful at all times. We were particularly impressed at the great service we got from the front desk team - Mohssin and Sohail were brilliant and went out of their way to make sure any questions were quickly addressed. The breakfast was also great, with a wide selection of options. The restaurant staff and particularly Naima were wonderful. Naima is so nice, pleasant and helpful - we looked forward each morning to seeing her. She's a true asset to the hotel. Overall a great stay and we are already planning to return next year. Thanks Movenpick - see you soon.

The hotel is not well maintained. All loungers by the pool are broken. Daybeds don’t have shades anymore. The service quality is insufficient and unworthy of a hotel of this category.

Overall it's the best hotel in Marrakesh below 600 euros/night. But our room was a bit used - the door to the bathroom was swollen with dampness. The pannel that covers the bathtube felt on my foot. And the door to the room wasn't clean.

Hi the first room we’ve been allocated wasn’t working well, the heater completely destroyed and was making an awful noise, we complain from the first moment, at the beginning they just sent someone to fix the heater, but that issue is actually well know by the hotel and they didn’t do anything before we arrive to fix that. The pipe/vane is broken, so you need to change the Vane or don’t book this 4210/4212 rooms please. Thank to your staff who after 2 days of complaining realise we had a very problem, and my old grandma started to be sick to don’t be able to have a heater on knowing the weather was cold and rainy. So after 2 days, the incredible Hanane at the reception finally changed our rooms, and find us the perfect location to enjoy the need of our holidays. The room of the hotel needs seriously to be fixed because the reception the swimming pool and the Staff are amazing, especially the staff. Everyone is so kind, they give you the little plus that you can’t find anywhere, the staff is the reason we will be back. The restaurant is a good quality, the food is excellent, we stayed 3 evening to enjoy the F’tour, was so good. Thank you to hire such a beautiful staff in Movempick, but please fix the rooms, even the one we had after was having many little issues. If you want to know more details let me know, the list is long. Thank you x
