Thank you 21c Museum Hotel for such a wonderful stay! The art in the lobby was so fantastic that I am still telling my friends that weren't able to go about it and that they have to check out the hotel the next time that they make it Chi-Town! Also thank you the Global Sales and on property sales for making my birthday weekend so very special! I made sure to buy my green penguin and he is now a permanent resident in my home so I can always look back and remember this truly fantastic weekend! Thank you 21c Chicago and I'll see you next time I am in Chicago!

We have stayed at multiple 21C locations over the years (Louisville, Lexington, Durham, and Cincinnati). The staff in Chicago was aloof, always seemingly busy with desk work and efficient but not friendly. We asked for ice at desk and were told it would be delivered. 30 minutes later we called for ice. Ice never arrived. Room was comfortable and clean, albeit small. Location is great, but not sure we will stay there again as we much prefer the Peninsula’s quality of service.

Everything was nice in the room..very clean and well appointed. The only issue I had was an electronic blackout shade that didn't work. We had to sleep with the lights of the street posts coming through, though it wasn't too bad.

I can to Chicago a lot for business and usually stay at the hotels in your area. This time, it was for pleasure and to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I booked the king luxury sweet as the floor plans show that it had a standing shower and a tub (which we needed to shower our 3 month old). But the room did not have it and when I asked the front desk they said (the floor plans are wrong). The rooms were very nice and spacious. But we sadly didn’t get a view and usually a guest can choose that when reserving but when I didn’t see that, I assumed luxury rooms all get a view since it is more expensive. Sadly it wasn’t The decor of the hotel was very unique, something I have never been experienced before. I was happy overall, but was hoping that there was someone to help us with our luggage… like most hotels. They told me that the bell boy is busy at the moment and sorry but there are carts in the back… but later I realized there never was a bell boy. In the end, I feel like honesty is important. In order to attract high end customers, the word “luxury” has to be used when excellent service is being given. It wasn’t very nice when I waited in line to check in while my family was in the car… then was offered an upgrade for an extra charge and I accepted, but then they realized the upgrade room wasn’t available and then I stood there for 15 more minutes or so because they had to fix my reservations again and give me the room I originally booked. All in all, it was an experience. Sadly not something I would brag about to my friends, or recommend to people or clients for staying. But not bad that I would leave a bad review online. Thank you for asking for my experience

The actual hotel experience was fine, but I will never stay with you again while you charge "urban experience fees." Before every booking now, I will ask, and if the hotel charges one, I will go elsewhere. Don't lie about your rates.

Hotel was very clean, quiet, and unique. I loved the layout of the room and it was very pretty. Location was great and right in the heart of all the fun. I have a few things though I feel the hotel could have done differently. There wasn’t the ability to order a movie and only had the basic cable channels. I always thought that was a given in hotels and I’ve never ran into that. It was rainy one night and I wanted to watch a movie but wasn’t able to. Secondly, the lights in the room automatically came on when there was motion and it startled me every time I needed to use the bathroom at night. I had asked the desk downstairs to send someone up to assist us but didn’t hear back on that. Lastly there wasn’t a mini fridge. Again something I just took for granted that all hotels provide this but our room didn’t have one. Wasn’t able to take leftovers back to the room from any of the restaurants so that was kind of a bummer. The people at the front desk were very nice. Overall I enjoyed the trip. Got a great deal on it and it was a clean place to lay my head at night so I was decently happy.

Good location, the rooms are ok. Very noisy from the windows, no restaurant and the heating was not working, the smell coming out of the heating was really bad. We asked to change rooms and stayed in a cold room.

All staff were friendly and went well above and beyond to ensure our stay was a great experience. They are, however, woefully understaffed - no doubt due to current COVID situation. We didn't like the refrigerator being pre-filled with high-priced items we weren't going to use. Would rather have a conventional mini-fridge for drinks and leftovers.

Hotel staff did not enforce COVID-19 mandates. Most guests I saw walked around the hotel without masks, some even while speaking to hotel staff. Very disappointing.

Really nice 5 night stay (my second at this hotel): Quiet hotel, comfortable room, great shower. Nespresso machine is a nice touch. I love the galleries (although I was a little bummed that the main gallery was occupied by a large meeting when I was there). Perfect location in River North / Mag Mile.

staff was very helpful. the one complaint i have is the parking voucher was bogus, i was charged $159 for 3 days of parking and the car never moved from the space.

Beautiful rooms, great location, EXCELLENT staff! Both Veronica in sales + front desk staff were amazing.

We stayed as part of a group planning a fundraising event with an art gallery so we brought celebs and staff as well as some donors from Madison. I meticulously planned arrivals, amenities, and transpo with both Veronicas and our time at 21C was absolutely superb. Our guests felt welcomed and well taken care of. The late night hospitality suite overseen by Pam from banquets was perfectly executed and the best ending to a long weekend with our teams and donors. Everyone is looking forward to returning to actually have a chance to peruse the art!

I had issues getting keys to my room. The key system was down and my master key did not work so I had to got to the front desk and wait for someone to let me in my room three times my first day before the issue was straightened out. I really liked the hotel, and the locations was great but this was an inconvenience I could have done without.

We loved our room, super clean, very nice. But we were there for our sons birthday and the art in the lobby was awful. Super politically charged, and everywhere on the way to the elevator.. unavoidable. I wish this hotel had come with a warning.

Perfect location for exploring the city. The exemplary service of Tom the engineer is the reason for 5 stars. He came up immediately to check my TV which didn’t display, assessed the problem,and brought up a new TV which had arrived the day before. He was friendly, efficient, and professional—-outstanding service. My only criticism—-the dark, dreary hallways (at least on 11th floor).

Hotel is chic and clean. Booked using All points as partial payment but full amount was kept on hold at check in. Good thing I inquired at check out and was corrected then. Will probably stay closer to the river where nice bars and restaurants are next time around.
