Beautiful building, great staff and amazing restaurant. Was especially easy for me not having a car otherwise I am not sure the valet would be economical at $40 a night...this would have made me not stay here had I required a car. Only other feedback for the hotel is the ice - the room had a broken mini-bar fridge that you could not store items, and the ice needed to be requested each time. Very difficult to keep things like water or leftovers cold

Our visit was ok. We had a long wait for check in, touches in our room weren’t fully clean (e.g., stains on the robe hanging in the bathroom and stains on the towels), and we didn’t finish our sub-par meal from the restaurant. Definitely not worth the price. We will not return.

I've always sought out places to stay that are not cookie-cutter expectations of what a hotel should be. While I've experienced many a quirky place during my travels around the world, the 21c Museum Hotel in Nashville is an extraordinary place located in a city with its own, very imaginative soul. The hotel itself is part place to stay and museum that is full of wonderful artwork. Something as simple as a ride in the elevator becomes a novel experience that both entertains and educates. It's location on the edge of the playground that downtown Nashville has become brings its own vibe - walking outside the hotel offers a view into another level of quirkiness. The 21c Museum Hotel is a great place to stay and even a greater place to experience.

Our stay was wonderful. We chose this hotel due to the exceptional downtown location. Upon arrival, we were greeted and Dustin immediately helped us with our luggage. The check-in process went smooth and we had a beautiful, large room on the 7th floor. The art and ambiance was delightful.

Our room was fairly dirty upon arrival. The floors left our baby's hands/feet black, the tub had miscellaneous debris in it, and there was leftover food and drinks in our refigerator.

Good location but won’t stay again

Good location and friendly helpful staff, but lots of negatives. Our room was noisy probably because of the A/C. It would literally vibrate the headboard of the bed. Our toilet would rock loudly every time you sit on it because it was loose. The hairdryer was broken. The coffee maker was broken. The blankets were super thin. I asked for the sheets to all be changed and it didn’t happen. They made the bed and kept the same sheets. And they overcharged me for one extra day of valet parking.

Showed up seemed okay inside checking in... I called and they said $50 for valet or next door in self parking garage was $20. The bell hop took us up and I went back down with him and told me where to park. I went down there and it ended up costing me $40 a night to park. I walked back up and the parking gal said you should have asked me ...he doesn't know what he is talking about...you need to put in a hotel code..so I went in and talked with the Hotel check in person. He said you shouldn't talked with either ... basically I felt like they were both con jobs.............trying to soak me. I then asked Tanner if my room 605 is quiet............he said probably not but he had a room the following night to change with me..........I said that was fine...........next morning I called and Btittany (I think that was her name) that wasn't correct and they were completely sold out......... I told her that someone needs to be in charge of this hotel and make sure the information is correct that is being mentioned. I had a drink in the bar and the bartender had zero personality. I walked in the hotel on one occasion and a local was sitting on the front steps with a beer........... I have my own business and it just felt like there was zero accountability among the staff..........each area only was concerned with that exact area

Safe location to walk to restaurants and bars. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms were roomy, modern and very clean. Beds were top notch. Unique hotel with an artsy vibe. Highly recommend!

Lovely location, beautiful art, comfy bed, very clean bathroom, loved the mirrors and lighting! The view from my room was of a dead end hallway so that was a little disappointing but I was only there for one night. The restaurant was great! Wonderful staff and food. The art installations are worth multiple trips around the halls.

Overall good experience. Seemed to be short of cleaning staff. Room wasn’t always made up so towels, coffee not always replaced. Some front desk staff friendlier and more helpful than others.

Nice stay; easy check in. The phone in the room didn't connect to the front desk at least three times that I called. The hotel uses too many plastic water bottles. Why don't you just use glass jugs with water / ice and glasses so that people can drink. What was the deal with ice machines not being available to hotel guests? Very strange

One day business trip. I was disappointed that breakfast was not offered prior to 7:30am (not realistic for business travelers) and valet parking did not start until 7:30am either (your internal staff took care of me when I was desperate to get my car and leave). At a minimum, consider offering coffee in the lobby or restaurant in the early mornings if no food service until 7:30am (yes I know it is available in the rooms). A shout out to the gentleman that was the bellman the evening of my stay. He was amazing in all ways. I wish that i would have gotten his name. I called to see if you had almond or another nut milk for my coffee in the morning and he quickly brought it to my room. Unloaded my luggage and gave me directions too. His attitude and energy were off the charts (he was an African American gentleman if you are trying to identify him) and he represented your brand very well.

I come to Nashville about once a month to attend concerts at the Ryman. I loved the location, and the ability to walk to everything I needed. I was somewhat appalled by the $50/night parking fee, and when I went to take a shower the next morning, I had no towels, toiletries and the tissues were soaking wet. I told the front desk, but no one brought towels for over an hour and I finally flagged down the housekeeper on the floor to get some. I was impressed with the overall feel of the hotel, and I enjoyed the restaurant/bar a lot. I only wish that it stayed open a little later on the weekends.

Nice Place, Nice People, but... no service at all!

Really liked the facility and the location for a stay in downtown Nashville. A couple of big negatives though. You pay so much for this per night and it was a big surprise that you receive no service! Not once did anyone enter the room to make bed, provide towels, replenish supplies, and we stayed for three nights! And there was no advance warning or notice either. So each night you have to go to the desk and ask for a towel at least because nobody serviced the room and you didn't know you had to hang up your towel to reuse. When I asked at the front desk after day 2 they said they have a list of a lot of rooms and people asking so it would be taken care of... but still didn't happen. At 4 pm asked again and after that someone did enter the room to put in new towels, but they didn't do anything else... no coffee or shampoo or empty kleenex replacement or anything. Other big negative was construction noise that began early each morning. Not at the hotel but at an adjacent property so I suppose there is nothing they can do about that, but it was very irritating.

I found the staff (except for the bellman) to be unfriendly and "annoyed" when approached by a guest. Also, my room did not get cleaned on day and that was disappointed. When I called down for towels, and when they brought them up, they are not folded nicely but all undone....were they clean??? It was just not professional. I paid $400 a night (not including tax) for 4 nights which was INSANE for this quality of hotel.

It was out first stay at a 21c property, and we were pleasantly surprised at the concept of a museum hotel. The art was interesting and provocative, and the teal penguins completely charming. The hotel location was fantastic and rooms were great. But it was the staff that made the hotel a standout. From the valet staff, the front desk, the restaurant employees, to housekeeping, everyone was friendly and extremely service-oriented.
