internet never worked properly. Stayed 3 nights never had working internet. requested clean towels at 9am by 6pm they still had not been delivered. I had to call and request again

We drove a long distance. We’ve stayed in your hotel numerous times over the past 10+ years. One of our favorite things is your restaurant….. When I logged-on to secure a room, NOTHING was posted that showed that the restaurant would be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. I mean, who closes their hotel-based restaurant on a Wednesday, anyhow? Had I known that, we would have opted to stay at a Marriott, or a chain-establishment that had an operating eatery in the hotel. We were exhausted, wanted a good meal and a good-night’s sleep. It should have been posted in bold letters that your restaurant was closed. To say I’m disappointed would be a gross understatement. And the worse part is…I doubt anyone cares at all. Too bad…you’ve lost a customer - I’ll never stay with you again.

We enjoyed our accommodations and the location in proximity to some other things that we did. The only down side was that we never got our scheduled housekeeping (we stayed for 3 nights) so we had to ask for towels and coffee refills since nobody ever came to spruce up our room.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights. The morning coffee experience was not great- one day there wasn't any coffee available. I wasn't told at check in that my room would not be serviced during my stay. The front desk staff seemed young and not well trained.

My husband and I had a great experience at your Louisville hotel. The room was clean, staff was fantastic, food was great. My only small area of improvement would be the Internet- I edit videos for a living and was hoping to be able to do some uploads while visiting, but the internet was too slow.

I travel frequently for work and leisure and while I stay at a prefers corporate property for my business travel I often select art and design properties for my personal travel (in Asia, Europe, South America and US). I liked the public space and the art displayed publicly and privately in my room. The design of the room was also nice and comfortable overall. My bedding had a weird smell (like rubber), so I guessing latex is incorporated somehow. (?) My general disappointment relates to the service and the lack of attention to detail in numerous employee interactions.

21c Museum Hotel Louisville, while having some great features, missed the mark on a number of points. First the positive: - The hotel room itself was well laid out with good bedding. The coffee maker was appreciated as were the black out blinds. - The attached art museum was enjoyable with several interesting pieces. It was fun walking through it. - The small fitness center had excellent equipment choices and was kept clean. Negatives: - I believe this is a 3-star hotel playing at 4 star. It lacked several features one would expect of a hotel claiming the higher status. - The lack of a real lobby (just a single sectional in a corner) was unacceptable. The hotel either needs to clear the museum out of their reception-adjacent space or work in real seating options to create a good space. - The hotel did not serve breakfast! This was tied to COVID, in part, but the tie between the hotel and Proof on Main was far less than one would hope. Even with COVID in mind, how does the hotel not have some complementary grab and go options 16 months in? There has been time to adjust to this but reception just sort of shrugs it off. Not acceptable. - Reservations at Proof on Main and other Louisville restaurants were somewhat hard to obtain. Definitely COVID-related, not the hotel's fault. That said, reception should have had more than a shrug when I asked if they could help with with a reservation at Proof on Main for brunch. Four star hotels have restaurants. If 21c doesn't have a restaurant it can interface with, it needs to claim three star status. - The hotel maintains a small refrigerator with items for purchase at reception. It was convenient. Unfortunately reception does not keep it stocked. For example, I was buying one or two diet cokes per day. I watched as the reserve went down until one afternoon they ran out. Reception then checked their stores and offered me a warm can. How no one thought to restock seems a bad oversight. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others. 21c seems to believe that they can hang their hat on the art museum and generally ignore service and/or good hotel functional design. The art museum, while cool, cannot carry the whole experience alone.

The lack of breakfast before 10 and paucity of coffee was soul crushing. Only one employee had up to date information about the lack of red penguins for purchase.

It was great my 10-year-old loves taking a P in the downstairs lobby bathroom and so do I! The room was nice and was a good overall experience. I’m glad there were no marxist BLM protest while I stayed there they got out of hand the last time I stayed downtown. We walked to the glass museum and got coffee and muffins at Blackbeard coffee both were awesome. My son was also wondering why the big golden statue man chose a mask over underwear. I’m definitely looking forward to my next stay there I loved it. Have a great day y’all..

We specifically sought out this hotel because we enjoyed it so much when we were there a few years prior. We had something big to celebrate and without our knowing, the bar and the restaurant were both closed down during our visit. Even the staff seemed surprised. We were left scrambling to find somewhere else to go which wasn’t easy in the neighborhood. This was post- Covid incidentally. Really ruined our trip.

Stains on sheets and cockroach in the bathroom

The staff was friendly but we found that the room was a bit under kept. The bedspread had stains on it and we also found a cockroach in the bathroom. When we went downstairs to tell the staff (as well as show them the picture we took) the didn’t even act surprised, nor did they apologize ... or even ask what room we were in.
