Great hotel but it sucked that they wouldn’t accommodate us on an extended ourstay on the room I had booked for an extra day.

Made a reservation at Metropole for dinner and 21C for the night for my fiancé and my anniversary. Dinner at Metropole was, at the very best, overpriced and unsatisfactory. Fiancés pasta was bland and her salad (Brussels salad?) was unsatisfactory. Crispy deviled eggs made us both sick. My burger and fries were very good though. Our stay in our room was disappointing. Bed linens were thin, uncomfortable, and we had to request two additional blankets. The furnishings were merely adequate and there was no sugar or creamer for the coffee. I wouldn’t stay here again for the cost. Was far too overpriced for what we experienced and merely felt just like another hotel room at any average hotel, albeit with some fancy bathroom tiles.

Great staff, not so great beds

This was my third time staying at the hotel and I think it may have been my last. The location is great, same with the staff. I love the art, it definitely brought me back through the door. But I just can’t get over the uncomfortable beds. The comforter is thin, the mattress worn and so sleeping soundly is a challenge.

I’ve stayed here many times because it’s always been outstanding. Amazingly personalized services even em when unexpected. However since purchase by large hotel corporation some aspects have slipped. I hope it’s just Covid and things return to normal soon.

Lots of confusion

My husband booked a stay for me as a gift and there was a lot of confusion at check in, difficulty getting my door keys, confusion again at dinner when I tried to charge my meal to the room. I was also scheduled for spa services at 11.45 the following day. I was granted a late check-out at 2pm, but no one else was alerted about the change. Housekeeping knocked on my door at 9am stating the room I was in was listed as "dirty" and "vacant". I called down to front desk and they told me there were not aware of the late check out and I would need to get new room keys in order to access my luggage after my spa services

I actually was very disappointed. I found this hotel when searching for a spa/ hotel, I was so excited to have my first spa experience and solo weekend ever. I made my reservations but was unable to find spa schedule so I figured I would just look at options and schedule on arrival. When checking in I was given the information needed for the spa. Soooo exciting! After much debating I decided on the service’s that I felt would make me feel my best. It was kind of late on a Friday so I just sent a quick message to schedule. I wasn’t positive I did it right so I also called spa when they opened on Saturday. It was then that I was informed that there was no available appointments until the following Thursday. So you can imagine how disappointed I was. Although the hotel was very nice and unique which I loved my weekend was a total waste of time and a lot of money that I normally wouldn’t waste on myself being a single mother.

I would say mediocre. There was no access to breakfast accept stale bagels, nice fruit, but nothing to even buy. There was very little to do in the area and the museum was under whelming. The room did not seem particularly clean. Old tech on TV, outlet near bed did not work, and front desk did not know internet password when I checked in late! The biggest disappointment was the spa. I booked to use the spa and it was not open at all during my 4 night stay. I would not stay here again. Also the fridge in room was locked so you really could not even store food for breakfast. Coffee was good in room, and robes we nice.

The location can't be beat. The inability to socialize anywhere but a couple of seats at the bar is not great. The rooms are too small for guests. Breakfast service would be nice for a hotel that strives to be high-end.

Very Good.. We enjoyed our stay and the art of the hotel museum. We hosted a celebration in the one of the gallery's, it was fantastic! The staff was friendly. The Cincinnati Team left an everlasting impression on my quest and my wife.
