In sad underlying circumstances of the current situation was treated like an old friend returning, gave all your reception staff a pair of medium weight nitrile gloves each for filling up their cars with fuel

the hotel looked abandoned and out dated, reception service poor, hotel rooms clean but out dated. breakfast service was terrible, no plates, knifes, forks or spoons. 2 men on breakfast duty seemed un interested to assist. My friend out the cheese which didn't look fresh and has been ill afterwards.

Me and my Partner stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. Both the morning and afternoon receptionists were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was nice and again the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Rooms basic but bed comfortable, shower nice and powerful. Temperature of room comfortable. Breakfast ok, could of been abit more variety and also more variety on the food menu in the bar.

For the price I paid it was average at best. The Hotel is tired and needs updating, to start with some atmosphere in the reception would help! My room was ok, clean and tidy and the breakfast very nice. Using the pool area felt a bit grubby and the pool needs a good clean out!

A large hotel on the very outskirts of Harlow. Good size and free car park. Hotel easy to find. But this hotel still requires refurbishments. Some work has been done, my floor had new carpet and rooms were of a good near to Accor standard. Not quite, still a little rough around the edges which a little bit more tlc is needed. Reception area too big and a little badly designed. Nobody on the desk when I arrived. No bell, had to wait for 5mins, then an helpful lady arrived. Breakfast of a very good standard, up to Accor levels. Again some refurbs needed, seats a little worn out.

Stayed for one night whilst visiting family. Only used room. A bit disappointed to be honest. No record of booking. So waited around while that was sorted out. Staff were pleasant enough. Room pretty shabby looking. Decor old and damaged in places . Big chunk out of side of bath. Had an ordeal trying to plug out of bath. Just an all bit ... meh

My one night stay was very pleasant and the staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful, which was refreshing and much appreciated. My only (very) small criticism is the TV in my room. Changing channels was very difficult with the remote and I could not find any buttons to use on the TV itself. I suggest the TVs could be checked frequently and remote controls checked for power regularly.

The Hotel is well located & rooms were reasonable. However with a renovation pending the place is extremely dated and obviously being run down gradually and lacks atmosphere. Restaurant/Bar is very basic and very cold. Food is passable but expensive. Staff were friendly, tried their best and rooms were clean. It was good to be able to use the pool in the evening. Biggest disappointment for me was being told the hotel did not earn me Accor points on stays despite booking via company website (Accor.com). Doubt I’ll be back despite working in the area for the next 12 months and needing Hotels.

The staff on reception were absolutely lovely however it was not their fault that my room (which I booked on line) had no lighting and no heating. It was freezing. I ended up staying in my friends room as they could not get the heating on. My other friend tried to stay in the room but got up at silly o'clock to leave to get home to the warm. I did mention to the receptionist in the morning that I would like a full refund however I was told I needed to get this through the booking agents (the company I booked with!)... what a palava that is. I didn't chase a refund as I believe your company (the actual hotel) should have dealt with it

Good stay, really poor reception with only one staff. There was a massive queue but you only had one staff member on reception. Frankly a disgrace. Smacks of cheapness. The rooms were clean and good value.

No heating, shortage of staff on reception and bar areas.

Complained Three times regarding the no heating issue. Was told that it a fault had just happened so staff were trying to resolve it. Was then told it was a know fault for quite some time (fault code F60?). We managed to secure a small oil filled radiator around 7pm but the room remained cold. Having went to reception again at 9pm i was told we could have a refund of 50%, this i took due to it had taken a lot of time during our stay to get anywhere. I was informed the next day that FULL refunds were giving out due to this issue...not happy at all. Our stay dates was Saturday 25th Jan.
