Weekend + work

I stayed for the weekend following two days of work, at check in concierge was kind and gave me an upgrade but room was not big cannot imagine the one i had in the booking how small could have been The room rate i had did not include all the (massive in my opinion) resort charge and taxes, for about 40% of the room cost ! I did not use the resort and beach at all as unfortunately weather was rather cold so hotel should really charge for resort use and not every guest . I did not make use of the hotel facilities but all in all the hotel common parts seemed ok, well maintained while I found the style of the room floors in need of a refresh For tourists the hotel location is great right next to the beach/boardwalk, walking distance to ocean drive Espanola way and Lincoln road

The SLS South Beach has been absolutely incredible! From Andy at the front desk upgrading our room and making our trip flawless to Rafael helping us to our room and giving us a beautiful tour of the property, we have had the best honeymoon experience at the SLS South Beach. Fernando at the concierge has also made our honeymoon stop in Miami unforgettable with his great recommendations all over the city. Can’t wait to come back!
They could do better.

We stayed here NYE weekend. The location is wonderful, rooms are small as others have stated but we expected it based on reviews. What we did not expect was the shortage of beach chairs at a beach front property. Our first day when we went down to the beach they told us they were taking names and numbers to call when chairs became available.. it was weird because there truly weren’t THAT many chairs out.. we looked around and there was a HUGE stack of chairs, I asked why I couldn’t have one of them, they responded that they were ALL broken— I’m talking like 50 chairs. The kicker was— they sell their beach chair access on ResortPass so the people who were in front of me who weren’t hotel guests got chairs before us. I’m all about people making money… But when you don’t have enough chairs for even your guests, I think you should prioritize your guests first… That night I went to talk to the front desk and I was greeted by a very rude man who rudely took a piece of paper with their terms of service and highlighted that everything was FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. No apologies, no nothing. I understand first come first serve but when your guests are paying $600 a night you stay ON A BEACH PROPERTY you should at least have enough chairs for your guests if you’re offering them on another platform. All in all. Take your money somewhere else. Staff is rude. You pay alot of money and you can stay alot of other places in South Beach that are way better.

Great vibe and superb service. Virtually everyone working here is so personable - beyond. You’re almost forced to ask their names because you want to be friends with them. Food is excellent albeit pricey. Pool is great and great scene. Always love coming!
