I enjoyed my stay in La Cigale Hotel, the room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was great and delicious not to mention the service provided by the staff (special mention to Gary). The reception team are really friendly and accommodating, I had some issue when I was checking in and during the time Belen was very helpful. I would really recommend your place to my colleagues and acquaintances.

First time in this hotel. We booked close to 80 rooms for an event, but services were far below a 5 star hotel, especially as the group was VVIPs. Complete disaster at check in with guests being sent away as the rooming list was not updated, despite the correct one was sent to the hotel in due time. Rooms are somehow old although not bad, but NO upgrades and last by not the least, when I gave my All card number for the points, I was ensured they would be credited, but no point showing on my account until now. There are much better hotels for events in Doha. We will definitely choose another one for future events.

Unfortunately I didn't know that the hotel would not serve food and buffet breakfast because of Ramadan. It was a set menu of items that I could not see before ordering. The menu was priced with various breakfast items, was not told that these items would be charged or not was unclear. I ended up just ordering coffee and pancakes. Then I saw others getting everything served... apparently you could get a full breakfast combinations regardless of the prices on the menu. so yeah it wasn't a pleasant moment when I realized that i could have had the breakfast items without having to worry about the menu prices or limit on options... I tried to eat dinner at the breakfast venue (everything else was not serving food) on the 2nd floor only to be told while eating that I had to leave while I was eating because they were preparing for Ramadan. I was asked to be moved to eat somewhere else but I find it insulting to interrupt someone's meal to move him elsewhere to continue. At least tell me before I order. I didn't want to move elsewhere, left without finishing. I was told I can't smoke outside due to Ramadan and to go to my room. The room didn't have ash trays. although it was a smoking room. I only stayed 1 day. too many issues for 1 night.
