Overwhelmed. Short staffed. Chaos.

Upon arrival, we checked the room and the kitchen had not been cleaned and the rest had been cleaned very quickly. We raised it to the Manager who took note of it but we told him we were not going to use the kitchen. Breakfast was ok the first morning. On the Saturday, it was a little bit chaotic (too many people, not enough staff, food items missing) but on Sunday it was total chaos (staff overwhelmed, tables in the reception area, lots of food items missing, bread was frozen, etc etc). We had no pleasure and didn't enjoy breakfast. Other than that it is a nice new hotel (nice design, lots of family room). The issue was staffing and clearly lacking a pilot in the plane. Seems very junior staff were left alone trying to manage a situation which was out of control.

Safe bet but with a few hiccupa

I had booked a stay for its idea location and comfort for one night but was met with several hiccups during my short stay. The king-size bed turned out to be twin beds, the supposed to be heated pool was too cold to swin in and I was assured on the phone to be able to have an early breakfast which was denied when asked again at check in. this being said, the staff was very understanding and tried to find a solution. Unfortunately nothing was possible due to the venue being fully booked. Overall the experience feels overpriced for what we got out of it.

We're sorry to hear that our heated pool didn't quite hit the mark for you. We have made the decision to reduce the pool heating to the minimum required temperature of 28 degrees in order to do our bit to reduce energy consumption. We know how important getting a good night's sleep is and so we genuinely appreciate your feedback on our beds. Our breakfast buffet opening hours are from 7am until 11am, we apologise for any confusion. Room not serviced, train your staff

We had difficulties with the cleaning service of our room. The bed was covered in black hair on arrival. Next day cleaning cloths were left in the bathroom which I put on the hallway. Reception Staff was alerted but did not take action to remove. They actually denied it was there. I said I did not want a discussion I want it just to be taken care off. Than action was taken by your staff. Next day we found the room not being serviced at all, after a day of excursion, another argument with your reception staff, who went to make up our bed personally as the room would not be cleaned. Towels were brought Toilet paper I had to get myself. After long debate with staff we got a discount but this was not our intent, the evrning was ruined. We regularly stay in hotels both for business and leisure and expected a good experience, this was a four stars hotel after all. Never heard of a policy where rooms are not being cleaned. We did not like to have to debate/ argue with your staff, for us its a sign of bad management and insufficient training.
