Staff was great. Bed was really comfortable I had a nice view from my room. Had usb charge slot which was great. Really enjoyed it. I would book again when on Rome. The location couldn't be better within easy walking distance of the sights (coliseum, trevi fountain) and the main train station where you can catch the sight seeing tours. The desk person gave me a map and told me how to get around. Great stay. Very comfortable.

This recently renovated hotel has a number of strong points: its location, the sound insulation, the good materials used in the bathroom, ... . The weak point is the service. We ate lunch with three, choosing the three different salads on offer. All were below standard, even for the low price of 10 euro water included. Breakfast is badly organised: a symbolic buffet and the possibility to order additional items like cheese, fruit or scrambled eggs. But there is only one person taking care of the service. With only a few guests it means you need both time and patience, and when the room is half full, you see the poor man literally running around as not coping with taking orders, bringing coffee, refilling the buffet items, .. and of course not cleaning the tables which leads to chaos as more people come down and cannot sit anywhere even if only a minority of tables are in use. On our first day, the "chef" arrived only at 8 am, before the, no possibility to get scrambled eggs. Such a situation can easily be solved: adding more items in self-service (e.g. a coffee machine), and simply increasing the staff. But I don't believe this will change for the better as the problem seems to be the management: you see them walk around slowly, and not doing anything to help the staff. It is surreal to see a lady-manager walk around lazily, and not doing anything during the chaos of the breakfast; or at another moment letting the phone ring at the reception for ages. Would this experience have been my first with Accor, it would have been the last. I assume this must be a franchised hotel as I cannot imagine it is managed by Accor.

Not good as expected other than teh location. Room amenites were not upto accotr atandards. No ironing borad available. Breakfast notupto standrad. Requested for an egg omlette was not provided. Instead provided scrambelled egg. Thefeore, decided to have breakfast on the 2ndy day. Service very slow lack of staff.

Fine small new hotel. Well located and great reception staff. Reasonable value for money. The old fashioned bedlinen do not fit the modern beds and you find yourself exposed to the mattress and a dirty duvet during the night as all the bedlinen separates. Bathroom hangers are missing with only very few options to hang your wet towels and bathrobe. The soundproofing against street noise is not good but the noise level is bearable.

Non existing restaurant and breakfast room in the hallway ?!?! Very poor quality of windows can hear oitside traffic even from 5th floor No closet in the rooms just hanging bars with only 3 hangers?!?!?! Bathroom windows knee opened stops into the bathroom door and then you can’t get into the bathroom. No hangers in the bathroom had to place towels on the toilet. Bathroom amenities always short ( only received for 1 person) had to constantly ask to bring for each person. Reception staff friendly and helpful

New hotel but with some issues. Tv didn’t work as plugs where badly installed. Air conditioning didn’t work but luckily weather was not hot. For the rest beautiful room.

This is a new hotel in the Mercure line. It is well-located, comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room (Superior Room) had a nice, big bed with desk and refrigerator and a large bathroom. Some things have not been thought out well in the room though. There is very little place to put clothes, only one hanging rack, with one shelf, no drawers. The same is true of the large bathroom. Very little place to put toiletries and nowhere to hang towels. There is also no shelf in the bathroom to put soap and other things while showering. The breakfast, which I did not have, looked very meager passing through, so I'm not sure if it would be worth it. All in all, a nice place to stay, but they could make it much nicer by adding some extra touches.

It’s a very nice property, it has boutique hotel feel to it. It didn’t hurt that I reserved the junior suite that to my surprise was in a loft layout. The gentleman who check me in and out was a true gentleman and professional.

The location was great, the beds were comfortable, beautiful bathroom with rainfall shower. Room has a Smart TV so that you can wind your day down with Nextflix and other streaming apps.

Bit of a disappointment. I was looking forward to this stay but when I checked in I wasn’t offered an upgrade because of my ALL status even though I asked for it. I was told the hotel was full and no better rooms available which was not true since you could book online higher category rooms for that night at that moment. So the room I was given 201, was a sort of cave/dungeon with no light whatsoever looking into a dark hole covered on construction site materials. When I went back to reception the guy kindly changed my room for one with plenty of light and great window on the 4th room, alas trading this for a smaller bed. No status welcome gift given, welcome drink alcohol wise only wine and minibar fridge empty and not working. Mattress and pillows were fantastic and made me sleep 10 hours straight, crazy, I don’t know what happened! Shower was fantastic too. Being fair with my review, they didn’t upgrade me despite having availability but they gave me a very generous late check out, basically as long as I needed, which was life saving. Shame about the no upgrade and the possibility of ending up in rooms like 201, if it wasn’t bc of this I’d go back to this hotel, but I cannot risk to end up in such a rooms a day that the hotel is really fully booked and no chance to change rooms.

Everything was wonderful from the front desk staff who took care of me when I arrived early. She suggested I do a tour of the city while waiting for my room check in. My room was amazing with the out door patio that looked over the rooftops. I felt the Italian spirit.

At least offer water in the room! It’s extremely cheap for a 4 star to offer no water, basic coffee and basic breakfast. For £145! Very very poor hospitality rating here. Will absolutely not be revising
