Good overall. Shower pressure was very low.. too low. Buffet could have been better. Staff are excellent

Nice new property with some teething problems

With over 300 rooms, it is a decent size property but still can offer that cosy feel. The downside to that is the limited scope of amenities. Don't get me wrong, it ticks all the boxes. It does have a pool, gym, restaurant, bar, lounge, etc. What you don't get is a grand lobby, 5 restaurants serving different cuisines, 4 bars and a pool area that is more like a mini resort. On the up side, you are never going to go hungry along Orchard Road. Go out and explore, my foodie friend. You will be able to cool down by the pool and sip your cocktails after a hard day's "work" and you won't be bothered by too many fellow guests. Speaking of Orchard Road, you really can't faults its location. It is situated right in the middle of the shopping district. Paragon is opposite and the huge Takashimaya complex is just across the road. If you are visiting Singapore for the shopping and the buzz around Orchard Road then you have hit the bullseye. However, this is a double edged sword. If you are a first time visitor and want to do all the touristy stuff then you'd be better off staying closer to the bay area where you are nearer to attractions. Now, the not so good news. The hotel was officially opened on 1 march 2023 (soft opening a few weeks before). We stay there just over a week after the grand opening and there are teething problems. They are working on it and some are already fixed. However, it was a little disappointing in some aspects so I can't give them a full mark but I'll certainly come back for a second stay just to see if they have reached their full potential.

1) 3 patches of sticky red stains were found in the living room when i checked in, cleaner was asked to clean them up. 2) After cleaning, cleaner left the cleaning cloth in the toilet. 3) Intermitten drilling noise was heard during the first 2 days of my stay 4) Poor wifi connection, kept getting disconnected.
