Yellow hot water on bathtub

As a platinum member, I had higher expectations for the service at the hotel, but unfortunately, my experience fell short. This was my second visit, and I noticed the staff appeared tired and less welcoming than Sofitel in Asia. While there was no visible sign of hotel renovations, I was informed that a high-floor upgrade was unavailable due to ongoing construction. To add to the disappointment, when I tried to use the bathtub, the hot water was yellow. The staff did not provide a clear explanation as to why the water was discolored or what measures were being taken to address the issue. Even after the engineering team inspected the situation, the water remained a light yellowish color, which was quite concerning and disappointing..

I arrived to the hotel on Sunday morning around 9:30 and was very disappointed to hear that although you had rooms available I was requested to pay $200 in order to get the room before the hour 3:00 p.m. It is the first time I encountered such demand.

Excellent location but no Sofitel service.

Staff at hotel and restaurant was absolutely excellent. Hotel was looking worn out. "Featherbeds" more squishy than comfortable, door locks that break, stained carpets and banged up walls. Also a non responsive system to issues about the bill, namely, no correction for an overcharge charge for two bottles of water instead of one and no explanation of the additional nightly "Urban Experience" charge. Very sad, we have stayed here for years, but don't know that we will return.
