Spacious rooms were my first impression ( NYC standards)- Despite the building and the furnishing requiring an update, I purely enjoyed my experience with the most convenient locations and yet quiet and pleasant. The staff members were very helpful - I look forward to coming back after the renovation by Dec 2025.

Decent room, everything working and spotless but surprisingly no coffee/tea making facilities that we normally have in lest prestigious hotels. Staff members at all levels were really helpful and pleasant.

Restaurant and staff were great. I had asked for coffee maker and it was not in the room. I paid for "high" floor but was on a middle floor. Also, refrigerator well stocked but one can of diet coke with tax was $10; there was no list of prices for mini-bar. No bottled water in the room. Front desk staff were also very helpful. A for staffing and C for amenities in room.

Front desk service was excellent. Great location and large comfortable room and bathroom. I’ve stayed in this hotel multiple times over the years. Disappointedly that furniture was worn and scuffed up —- needs a refresh. Surprised no coffee maker or hot water for tea in this class hotel. Coffee in lobby is fine but not a substitute. Had to ask for water bottles/boxes, not in room when I arrived, not replenished automatically.

My partner and I had an extraordinary stay at the Sofitel New York. My partner and I recently decided to try our All Accor loyalty program and portfolio of brands for 2025. From the gentleman that greeted us at the door to the moment he said goodbye to us as we checked out, we had a great experience. We are most definitely going to visit Sofitel New York in the near future, as well as Sofitel abroad and the its sister brands. The suite was greater than expected. I was surprised to know that Sofitel is currently undergoing a renovation, as you cannot see and/or hear the construction. It was amazing! The housekeeping staff are phenomenal, as well as room service. Everyone is very friendly, but at the same time, they give you your space. We stayed on the 27th floor in one of the suites and it was incredible how there was a real separation between the bedroom and living room (entrance room in between). My only recommendation would be if housekeeping can provide a bottle of water or 2 upon checking into the room and/or as needed, otherwise, you can call the front desk, and they will send someone up to provide you with bottles of water. Sofitel New York Team, thank you for welcoming my partner and I, we truly look forward to coming back!
