An Open Concept Hotel

This Pullman has an open concept layout. The reception staff each has their own station, it was confusing. I think, this hotel is catered to Viking Cruise’s cruisers. In the morning, so many people gathered around the lobby area waiting for their excursion. The room we stayed was very good size and clean. There are plenty of restaurants, a Food Hall and a grocery market around the hotel. The metro and train station is within easy walking distance. However, this Pullman is not close to the major tour attractions.

Even if Platinum member then I wasn't offered any privilieges (room preference, upgrade, etc.). Very long queues to breakfast.

Extremely Loud, Slow response, Shower room has no doors

This place has new amenities, good view and reasonable price, which may seem appealing online. But considering these before booking 1. Extremely loud music from Skybar on the 32th floor until 5am. Even for a room 10 floors below, it feels like you are in the bar with all the loud music and vibrations, impossible to rest and sleep. Raised this issue several times but not resolved. 2. The shower room has no doors by design. You can easily spill water everywhere. Also it can be quite chilly during the shower. 3. Other minor things, e.g. cleaning staff not supplying new bath towers, and it takes 1.5 hours to request new ones; Cleaning staff took away the room key for electricity.

We loved making Paris Pullman Montparnasse our home base to explore Paris. With Gare Montparnasse/Montparnasse Bienvenue across the street, you can easily access several metro lined to see the city. Beautiful rooms with comfy beds and stylish bathrooms. Everything was sparkling clean. Rooms are so quiet; we slept very well. Lots of elevators so you never have to wait. Fantastic buffet breakfast and a spacious lobby. Staff is very kind and helpful, including the front desk, breakfast crew, and concierge. There are a lot of options in Paris but do not hesitate to book this property. It is a great choice.
