What a disappointing stay to say the least. We came through from Sydney for my boyfriend’s birthday to play golf and stay at the resort for 1 night and we were bitterly disappointed with the lack of service and amenities. When we first got to the room, we noticed there were no bottles of water in the room, there were stains in the carpet and our basin tap in the bathroom wouldn’t close properly. The cherry on the cake was breakfast the next morning. We queued for 20 minutes before we were able to be seated and it was evident that there was a severe shortage of staff as the young lady who was seeing to people at the desk kept on disappearing to attend to tables. When we eventually were attended to, we were asked our room number and whether we had breakfast included in our stay (we very much did), as if it was too much effort to check the list of room numbers that would be coming through for breakfast. We were then told to go through and dish food whilst a table is set for us and that we could order coffee in the meantime. The food had very clearly not been replenished throughout the breakfast service and there wasn’t even any bread to toast or juice in the dispensers. We got directed to an open table where there was no cutlery and 1 chair missing. We eventually shared the booth side of the seat and had to take it upon ourselves to get up and ask for cutlery. By this point, 20 minutes had passed and we’d still not received our coffees. It was with this that we opted to just up and leave as we weren’t optimistic that we’d actually ever get our coffees. I’ve never experienced such a shocking breakfast at a resort/hotel in my life and there was a clear lack of urgency, etiquette and attention to quality. My father is a general manager of a Hilton hotel, making quality hospitality something that I am very familiar with. What was supposed to be a celebratory birthday getaway turned into a disappointing and unfulfilling trip. I will never be back and suggest that some deep investigation and introspection needs to take place with regards to staff training, attention to detail and meeting the requirements of ensuring an enjoyable stay of guests.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Pullman. I am writing to express my deep disappointment following my recent stay at a Pullman property. As a loyal guest who has had consistently excellent experiences with Sofitel, Novotel, and Mercure, I expected the same standards from Pullman. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience I have ever had with Accor. From the very beginning, the welcome at reception was far from welcoming. The staff member (Tito) provided a confusing explanation regarding the apartment and car park. He stated “502” but then circled “501” on the map, later explaining that he refers to the entire block as “501.” While I acknowledge that I may have misinterpreted his instructions, I believe this terminology was completely unnecessary and only created confusion. The apartments are clearly numbered (501, 502, 503, etc.), so referring to the block as “501” was irrelevant and unhelpful. As someone who manages check-ins daily, Tito should have provided clear and straightforward directions. The situation escalated when we returned after a full day to find someone parked in our designated space. We attempted to contact reception, which is advertised as being staffed until 10 pm. However, our calls went unanswered three out of the five times we rang over two nights. It wasn’t busy when I checked in around 7 pm, so there’s little excuse for the reception desk not being responsive. On the second night, our call was finally answered, but by then, the frustration was already overwhelming. This lack of professionalism, clarity, and basic service has completely soured my first Pullman experience. What should have been an enjoyable stay turned into a stressful and disappointing one. Stayed for three nights, accommodation comfortable. During my stay it rained, considering the open nature of the resort, an umbrella in the room would have been very helpful. Townhouse heating was also odd, with lower levels much cooler than upper levels. Room service menu accessed via link in room not accurate.

Beautifully maintained resort . I attended a conference - there was only a single and quite slow coffee machine, so had to wait - a second coffee machine would have enhanced the experience
