Enjoyed the stay and particularly the casual dining and social drinks area which was delightful. The large outdoor pool outside was very nice but the rock pool outside our door was closed for cleaning and that was a bit disappointing. The rooms were average given the resort style and price point. They were a pleasant lay out and the windows lovely - curtains were good black out variety and fit well. The coffee machine was welcome but leaked everywhere - the A/c was difficult to adjust and overnight room temp was mostly too warm or frigid. The bed had a funny lean on it on one side so felt like you were fighting gravity sometimes. While there was plenty of space, the wardrobe design was not very useful - lack of drawers/shelves for two people and doors opened and closed awkwardly making it difficult to share access. So we had a very pleasant stay but mixed views on the accommodation!

Start to finish enjoyable, pleasant, refreshing..stairs at the villa for a week had a wear on fitness (73 & 71 yr olds)...no change in menu for the week...limited snacks at shallows...no scheduled Manchester change without request for the week. Hence score 9.

Came here for a small honeymoon with my wife. Had abit of a hiccup with early check in but workout out okay. Ordered the romantic package and this obviously wasn’t known to staff or shown on my booking (on their end). Pool bar closed which is unfortunate. Very very expensive for the experience. Villa is old, tv are old. Breakfast wasn’t worth the money it costs to have. The pizzas at the shallow bar were unbelievable, amazing.
