Black mould and dilapidated

The room stunk like mould. Had black mould all over the curtains. Dirty marks on walls. Bathroom door was chopped along the bottom and the bathroom floor has stains. Bathroom tiles had pink mould in the grout. The chair had sweat stains on it. The outside furniture didn't match. For $360, it was NOT 5 star. It was 3 star, if that. Gross place. I came away feeling dirty and I felt short changed. Got my money back but wish I had never stayed there. Vile.

Bathroom drain stank like sewerage. Room wasn’t cleaned well, the whole area has gone downhill. They haven’t bothered to repair things eg pool gate that has been broken over for a year since our last visit. Noticeable decline since a year or two ago.

We booked online through the accor app a 3 bedroom villa, only to receive a phone call hours later saying that the hotel is actually fully booked and they are not sure how the system allowed us to book a 3 bed villa. They then offered us a 2bdr plus inter connecting studio, we said that's ok. We arrived to the hotel to be told that the 2bdr was not ready or cleaned as of yet, and made to wait up to 2 hours (till about 5pm) for the room to be ready. We were then told the rooms aren't interconnecting, which was an issue as we have very young children. So we then opted for only the 2 bedroom plus a roll out bed. we got in the room about 0530 pm only to find no roll out bed and waited for one to be brought in. Room had live insects and not that fresh. Next day we wanted to extend our stay as mentioned the night earlier. Only to be told that you will need to check out, and then recheck back in at 3pm till a room is available. Then we were told actually we could stay in the same room. We then decided to leave the property as we felt mistreated. Despite the effort of the hotel staff to give us a $200 dinner voucher, we had already eaten prior to arrival so it didn't do much in terms of compensation. Overall very disappointed in our stay, especially being gold members with accor we assumed the best service, but sadly did not receive this.

We were very well looked after by the manager Tito; we were located by the lagoon pool and all the amenities were in easy reach. The villa was very spacious. Easy access to my car. Driving Range Access was wonderful and we spent a lot of time in the indoor pool and at the range. We hadn’t heard great things about the service at the restaurant so we stayed clear. In the upstairs master bedroom I did feel that it was very stuffy and perhaps the carpet needs replacing. I did open all the windows and the fly screens need vacuuming. The first night we were there. There was a Huntsman and we sprayed, but that led to dead cockroaches the next morning throughout the kitchen. I think the place needs a bit of a spray. The lagoon pool is freezing!!! The gym was great. It would be really nice if there were some more water stations around the place we had to keep boiling water and putting it in the fridge. Some ice trays would be lovely too in the freezer. Overall, it’s was not a bad stay and I would consider coming back no worries
