I had an enjoyable stay overall — the food was great, and the staff were fantastic. However, I was quite disappointed with the condition of my accommodation. I discovered a large patch of furry black mould in the shower cubicle, which was very off-putting. The doors and light switches were visibly grubby, covered with countless fingerprints — a real shock given the standard I expected. Other details added to my disappointment: the bin had been placed awkwardly on a shelf in the bathroom, the bed hadn’t been properly made (with pillows sticking out of the slips rather than tucked into the envelope folds), and there was no pen or notepad provided in the room. That small omission meant I had to walk to the main resort area just to jot down a few thoughts in my journal. These are things I’d expect from a budget motel — not from a Pullman.

We were allocated a newly renovated 3 bedroom villa that is close to the main building. The villa was nice & clean. It was raining most of the time so we just chilled most of the times inside. Location was good, close to The Entrance and the restaurants. I would have given it a higher rating if the staff service was consistently good but it’s not. It seems some needed more training.

The girls at reception were awesome to get us settled and fix our mistake when we had mistakenly double booked our stay for the same weekend. Unfortunately the only bad thing was we moved the couch in our apartment and it has not been clean behind for quite some time, and the shower needed a little work.
