Again and Again. Great stay at Fairmont Singapore, and in particular, its Gold Lounge Service. This is the hotel that doesn't disappoint in Service and Stay. In particular, large shout outs to Zhi Qi who has been handled our last check-in (and some of our previous ones) well. She always goes the extra mile in ensuring we remain comfortable. Some other members such as James, Ham, and Maha good hospitality services were also noted. I have missed a number of others, as there are so many staff. Fairmont Singapore continues to excel for both its room, lounge and service. It's probably the best in Asia-Pacific among the Fairmonts. Tip: If staying at Fairmont, just opt for the Gold rooms/suites. It makes a difference.

Hotel doesn't fulfill the Fairmont standard in my opinion. The rooms are nice and modern but basic things are not living up the brand standard. As a Platinum Member my welcome gift was a big apple which was looking like the leftover from breakfast. I had in many Sofitels much nicer welcome gifts such as Macarons and a bottle of wine or sth else. Also in the room there is no universal electronic power port. Also at the bed there are only USB ports to charge the phone. Breakfast is also very disappointing for the price the Fairmont charges. I stayed one day later in the Singapore Edition which cost nearly the same and they offer a 10x better breakfast with a big a la cart selection with freshly cooked dishes. I expect more from a Fairmont than cold waffles and pancakes from a buffet. Also the bedsheets didn't feel like in a luxury Hotel. The Fairmont Istanbul or Jakarta had much better quality sheets. Here they felt like Ikea and not really soft. It's sad that Faimront doesn't have own branded sheets where you know what to expext and always get the same sheets like at Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons or Waldorf Astoria. For this price I won't book this Hotel again. There are much better alternatives in the same price range like I said for example the Singapore Edition.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont. The service stood out everywhere — from reception to the restaurants and the Gold Lounge, everyone was warm and professional. The breakfast selection was excellent, and the central location made it easy to get around the city by MRT. The gym was decent, though not outstanding. Overall, a very comfortable hotel that gets the important things right.

It was our first time after having tried out most of the hotels around the Marina bay area, and while it certainly measured up to expectations despite bring one of the oldest hotels in this part of the city. The facilities and amenities had kept updated and we loved the L-shaped sofa. Unfortunately, we felt that service was a little lacking. We had chosen to spend our wedding anniversary at the hotel, and despite the occasion being noted at check in, and inquired again later, the hotel's complimentary cake was late, lack lustre and perfunctory at most. Truly disappointing.
