Nice hotel with a slightly problematic bathroom

Our room was wonderfully spacious with two balconies, two TV's, and lots of amenities. Our only complaint was the shower/bath which was very poorly designed. It had a non-movable half-glass partition so water from the shower got all over the bathroom floor. (But the staff was quick to bring towels to clean up the mess.) To make things worse, the shower and bathtub controls were located such that one had to step into the bathtub to access them. Service was excellent and the location was very convenient.

What can I say, what a lovely experience. Attention to detail, all the staff were kind, courteous, helpful. Out has to be noted, Robert- who was greeting us on arrival at the entrance was amazing. An absolute gentleman and so warm and friendly. It really make my day at a hotel more pleasant when the staff converse as opposed to rigidly do their job. My first visit to Singapore and first Fairmont stay. Breakfast at the Asian Markey Cafe was great- a wide selection of food available. Drinks at Anti:Dote- Singapore Sling and Shirley Bassey (both non alcoholic) prepared beautifully and served by a courteous welcoming host. The bed was comfy, I would give it an 8/10 the pillows and duvet 11/10. 3-4 minute walk from Esplanade MRT station (including waiting for a whole cross section light change) All in all, great hotel, EXCELLENT staff, well connected to transport links and an absolute pleasure to stay at.

Lovely hotel, great location, excellent dining options, right within a shopping mall so everything you need is right there but also a short walk or taxi to all the top spots. Great spa facilities, pool and gym.Excellent service and from a business perspective very very good. Loved the water filter in the room!

The hotel is excellent. We had a King room with Marina Bay view and Executive Club access. The Club Manager, Sam, and his staff including Jess, Ham and Zach were all fantastic doing everything possible to make our stay memorable. The Club views were also exceptional from marina Bay, to the Merlion to Robertson Quay.
