Shan-Mini Couples - TripAdvisor review

Stayed: August 2–6 I had high hopes for this stay but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations—especially as an Accor Gold member. Check-in and check-out were just okay, given that when we tried to access the gym and pool, we were denied entry because a form hadn’t been signed. This was never mentioned at check-in, and we only found out after going to the front desk ourselves. It felt disorganized and unwelcoming. My Accor Gold membership was barely acknowledged, which was disappointing, especially compared to a recent stay at Novotel London West, where the recognition and benefits were clearly provided. Housekeeping was average—basic toiletries like lotion and conditioner were missing, and were provided upon leaving a note for housekeeping next day, which is not what I’d expect from a hotel under the Accor brand. We also inquired about the bar when we returned to our room and were told it closes at 11 PM and to arrive before 10 PM. Again, a stark contrast to Novotel London West, where we arrived at the bar at 11:45 PM and were still warmly welcomed, even though the bar closes at midnight. The location was convenient, but overall, the experience was a letdown. The one highlight of our stay was Alina from Bokan 37 restaurant. We had breakfast there on the day of check-out, and she was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. She kept checking on our table, gave great recommendations, and even made sure we were completely satisfied before leaving. Thank you, Alina, for your outstanding hospitality!

The Reservation manager was very rude, I don’t know how they hired in this post in this type of 5 star hotel , he doesn’t know how to speak with customers, he was unprofessional, unethical, rude . Even he doesn’t know about the hotel policy and how to speak and give assurance , details to the customers. Never recommend to anyone and my advice to all those who wants to reserve room don’t put bank details when you are booking room , they will deduct money from your account without your consent and later they will just say that you did not read the policy and we cannot do anything for you that’s it , so very poor management. I call him to explain them but he doesn’t know what I am saying , he only say I don’t know but I can’t do nothing which doesn’t make sense.

Bowwowwow82 Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

Stayed for a night whilst on a works trip and the hotel was lovely. Stayed in suite 406 and is hands down one of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Nicely appointed, bed was super comfortable and was very quiet. Only downside was the lack of water pressure in the shower! If you’re staying here, definitely go to the rooftop bar - the drink selection is fab and the views of London are superb. One thing I will mention though if you are intending to stay, is that when I stayed, there were large protests outside the entrance due to the Novotel being opposite a hotel being used to house migrants. There was a huge police presence and a lot of aggressive people all around the outside, and they didn’t leave until gone past 9pm. When I left in the morning, they were just starting to return again - this is obviously not the Novotel’s fault (their security was very good) but something to be aware of.

Delighted to have stayed. Looking forward to next time.

Amazing staff. Clean and quiet rooms. Generous breakfast if high quality with many delighters you don’t get typically for a hotel breakfast. 38th floor roof top bar. Especially Akif made my stay a pleasant and positive experience. Thanks for this!
