Berlin suburban Hotel

This is a giant hotel on the outskirts of Berlin in a quiet neighborhood. It's great for large groups, and provided wonderful amenities to our group of 175 people, including conference rooms, food, and the standard comforts of a hotel. If you want to be IN THE ACTION of Berlin, pick another spot. But if you want a comfortable hotel that is easily accessible from the airport and public transit, this is a good spot. I was pleased with the experience.

Great sleep but very mediocre day services

Great location in active neighborhood with lots of happy restaurants and very close to u bahn. The room was excellent with very comfortable bed. The nights were completely quiet and dark, so sleep was wonderful. Taking away from the excellent one week experience knocking rating down from a five star to a 2 or 3 star hotel were due to complete failure to fix nor explain why one elevator to the top floor remained out of service, and also disappointing and boring often oversalted meals with bland overcooked tasteless lukewarm vegetables and lack of coffee at any meal but breakfast, same old pastries every morning and an unfriendly restaurant hostess. The waiters were all outstanding. I regret that the cost of meals was included in our week’s stay. Finally, the adjacent bar was excellent. Downstairs on ground floor is a nice mall with huge grocery store. An unexpected perk was a coupon for a drink at the bar if one requests that hotel room not be cleaned for two consecutive days. However the free beverage is quite small….a friend ordered a wine and it was poured….when she presented the free beverage coupon, the server took her glass back and poured a moderate amount of wine back into the serving container! Now that is really tacky!!!! I would not want to stay at this hotel again. Do not strongly recommend MOA Mercure.

We were here with a group for a week-long workshop. The rooms are nice and the service good. Breakfast is excellent. Many lunches and dinners were included. They became tired and boring because they were nearly all the same with little variety. Being end of summer, the supply of fresh fruits and vegetables was wonderful. The hotel is convenient to public transit. Beware: I had allergic reactions to the laundry soap they use on sheets and towels.

great place great breakfast. stuff were extremely nice and helped ( we needed a bigger matress for child bad and got it very simply which wasn't obvious) location is very good: not in the tourist centre so you can feel real berlin but just 3 metro station a way from the zoo
